Right at 50 hours put into The Saboteur for the Platinum Trophy. Had fun with it all the way through. This game is an under-rated gem in my opinion. I had it lock up on me a few times, but it wasn't nearly as buggy and frustrating as I was led to believe. Soooo glad I spent my free Silver and Gold perks on the car collections, though.
Need to remember to update my sig to show my new plat.
So I'm now 1030 points away from 60,000. And because I'm insane, I intend to hit it exactly. However, I don't particularly want to start any new games because You can't really be sure what you'll get and when (I only have one unplayed game that I can more or less 'finish'. The others are games you just keep playing and eventually you unlock stuff.)
So that means I'll be wanting to hit up games with empty points, mainly on multiplayer junk. So here is a list of games (going by the list of recently played titles) that I'll take help from people willing to give it. In all cases, willing to reciprocate but would like to get to 60k asap.
ACB (Well...yeah. But that basically means larger groups to grind XP so it's harder to arrange.)
GTAIV Ticket to Ride (This is a true thorn in my side. 25 fucking ranked wins my ass!) Stuntman Ignition Blood Bowl Ghostbusters Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway (I already have all the points, but it sure would be nice actually finishing it. Needs four people, though.) Hardwood Backgammon (I suppose I could play 10 games with randos, but why would I want to?) MARVEL Ultimate Alliance (Another four player thing. I think I can fake the 'arcade' stuff, though.)
And I didn't mention these games because I doubt getting much of a response or, in one case, kind of already busy. But just for completion's sake:
MLB 2K11 Saint's Row 2 (Currently playing with PaperLuigi 44, but if he isn't interested in getting the badges...) Football Manager 2008 (Nobody ever responds. But there you go.) Fable III* (Just need help with the easy co-op ones.) Green Day Rock Band (Mostly just beating the game in less than 12 hours with four people.) Crackdown (Just want help with 'Psych Out'. Might be convinced enough to buy the remaining DLC.)
*For Fable III, I have all the weapons and clothing and would be glad enough to gift them away.
And these have empty MP points, but I have no particular will to give a shit about them. Still, they're there and if they're easy enough, I might consider it.
Kane and Lynch Dead Men Ace Combat 6 (Already have the co-op ones. Just need the rest.) Ridge Racer 6 Splinter Cell Double Agent Saint's Row
One game that I didn't list because I couldn't list it was Tony Hawk's Project 8. I'd be so willing to pay somebody to finish that game (and Mirror's Edge time trials). That shit sits there like a turd in a punchbowl.
And I suppose there's MP stuff with the first two skate. games, but I don't know if EA shut off the servers for those. Anybody know where I can find out what EA servers are still up?
ERgh, I'm busy working on 1000/1000 for Just Cause 2 and getting 75% completion for the last achievement is probably going to be the death of me. 10% to go but when some things aren't even 0.01% of completion it takes a while : b (It's telling that the game measures completion % in ##.## format >.<)
I wouldn't mind helping out with Psych Out. I gotta get Double Trouble and Tag Teamer achieves in that game myself. Only thing is I have all the DLC for it.
Junpei: What I found made that achievement go by faster was to focus on military bases (the large ones, and airports) and the oil rigs. Collectibles help as well.

Yeah, I'm busy working on finishing all the challenges and killing the last few colonels before I just grind through locations. I'm still having fun though, I'm upto like 55 hours or so and love just floating about with my parachute enjoying the sites : b

lol, yea, both games were pretty beautiful and fun to play as well. I loved just free falling from the max alt in that game. you're making me want to go back and play it. ;p
if you haven't done the challenges, collectibles, etc there's no reason to do the grind just yet. I thought you were at that point! there are more collectibles than required too iirc, and they still count to your %s as well.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
I forgot to ask you, Santa, what's involved with the multiplayer stuff in SR2?
Some of it, at least so far as achievements are concerned are, just letting somebody win. But the rest of them are about earning 30 badges. There are 32 badges total and earning them is about doing some thing a bunch of times. Some of them look easy enough to get, but grinding will be involved. (See: Trigger Happy, Lead Foot, Track Star, and the higher Rank badges.)

Dammit, EA! I have NASCAR 09 and I thought NCAA Football 10 was already shut down... Oh well. Not every game was going to get completed anyway.
As far as Crackdown goes, let me see about getting points for the DLC. I'll get back to you for sure maybe later this week.

Hmm, I'll have to think about it, because while I would like to try out the multiplayer before I put the game to rest, grinding is outside of my interest.
Yes, I'll make sure to print out the plan this time too!
I just hit over 30,000 with The Ballad of Gay Tony, trying to go for the rest in GTAIV now. Wanted is the only one that I'm iffy about. I hear that Hangman's Noose is the best way to go about leveling up but even then, they say it will take about 50-60 hours. That's a whooole lot of time for a game where I already put about as much into it.

I would love to 100% Mirror's Edge, but I hate hate HATE the time trials. :x

I had a few colonels and challenges left at that point. Once I finished that I was around 3% from finishing so I jumped in my Rowlinson mostly for the speed and went from place to place just blowing shit up and not collecting anything, I found it much quicker to just work from one place to another and only blow things up than try to complete sites. Took maybe 40 minutes to get that last 3% and it was likely the fastest % I ever did in that game : b
I think I'll be able to finish Dynasty Warriors 6 this weekend if I marathon it.
Then it's TFU2's DLC, ME1's Pinnacle Station DLC... and... maybe... maybe... trudging through up my insanity playthrough for ME2 and its DLC. Hard to believe I beat ME1 so many times and I've only mustered the desire to beat ME2 just once, heh. u_u
Only 8000gs before I get to 90% completion! woo woo.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
lol, nah I'm only at 83,895 of a possible 102,120.
I just keep my % up by not starting games until I'm sure I can max em out. It results in a big backlog, but I don't really mind since I'm buying games I want to play and complete anyway. I'll probably break the 100k mark before the end of the year. Part of the problem is I put a lot of games into the "long term" completion slate and then just never got around to completing them.
My worst retail game is DOA4, which I borrowed from somebody for like a weekend.
Looking back, I definitely want to start doing Stranglehold again. I started it and then stopped to play some other games and came back to it on the laser stage and the curve to pick it up at that point is rather steep, lol. Then there's Dead Rising.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
tastydonuts, I don't think I'll be getting the Crackdown DLC any time soon. I'm simply not in a position to afford it. Hopefully that will change, but just not now.
I hope so. We can move it up to about an hour and a half from now if Willeth is okay with that. Otherwise, we'll wait until the original start time and probably just party up and grind with randos and hope a sixth (or more) shows up for Alliance play.
We can also run through those steps to get people Extreme Variety, too.

I can still help with Psych Out, though.
you can call me tasty. or donuts. actually donuts would be less homoerotic so call me that. ;p
anyway, yea that's cool. It's on my radar but not a priority. would I be able to play with you if you don't have the DLC, though? Never even tried to play Crackdown 1 online, so I have no idea.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
I think they have some kind of 'bridge' DLC for it. (As a side note, fuck Lionhead for not doing the same thing for Fable3. Was it really that hard to do it for Fable 2 that it wasn't worth doing again?) If not, then I guess we wait until I get the DLC or you find somebody else.
And on the subject of Fable 3, I tried to give the 'all weapons' achievement to a friend, but it didn't pop. (Longish story... I gave him everything I had, he still only has 48.) So at this time I no longer have all the weapons and clothing. When I get them back I'll remind the thread so I can give them to somebody else. (Also, fuck Lionhead for making it so damned complicated to gift clothing. Why in the blue hell can I not just give a whole outfit? Fuckers!)
Now, for ACB, I'm about to go out and get a bite to eat. I'll be online in about an hour. Send a message to Carnival Man so I can send a party invite. If we don't start at 4p PDT, then we'll go for 6p and work from there.
Yeah, Crackdown has a free and a paid pack. You can play with anyone who has the paid DLC and get almost all of the bonuses.

If anyone wants to get the marrage and get a kid achievement in Fable 3 hit me up. Characters male, but if your character has access to the orphanage that shouldn't be an issue.
Also if anyone wants to gift me any of the weapons you can buy from your stores I will not complain </begging>

I think all that really matters is a willingness to let somebody else win.

Should we exchange gamertags? Mine's just the same as <----
It appears we'd only be able to push the time up about three hours. I'll see what I can do, but can't promise anything.
I'm kinda surprised mine is so high, because I only play games I actually want to play i.e., no King Kong/Avatar/etc.
On a side note, I don't have high hopes that I will 100% Catherine. That game is balls hard.
