Sorry about missing the ACB stuff, but I've been watching the DotA2 livestreams - so no ACB for me this weekend. Next weekend I'll be up for it though!
Oh hey, you guys are trying to get Extreme Variety? I can give you the list I made when I helped RandomHajile and RMS Oceanic get it. This way only needs three people too (though you all need to be a high enough level to have poison).
Poison and pistol abilities and blender perk equipped.
Game Mode: Alliance
Map: Rome
All three meet in middle of map
PLAYER hide in hay, focus, kill TARGET - First Blood, Silent, Focus, Hidden, Savior, Variety
PLAYER stuns HUNTER - Stun
TARGET climbs building, PLAYER targets with gun, TARGET jumps, PLAYER shoots - Mid Air Kill
HUNTER chases PLAYER, escapes within 10m - Escape, Close Call, Greater Variety
HUNTER chases PLAYER, PLAYER joins group, HUNTER kills lookalike - Lure
HUNTER stuns TARGET, PLAYER kills stunned TARGET - Incognito, Grounded
TARGET stands on ledge, PLAYER hangs off ledge and kills - Drop Kill
PLAYER stands on ledge and kills TARGET from above - Acrobatic
PLAYER poisons TARGET - Poison
PLAYER kills TARGETS entering high profile just before assassination - Discreet
@Psychotic One: I may be able to help you with this, but I can't do it today, or at least I don't think I can... My goal today is to clear all stages on Chaos in DW6 for that achievement, and I'm like halfway done that according to my spreadsheet. I'm doing the harder stages first.
Actually at this pace I'll prolly be clear all of these in 2-3 hours. so, yea. if I'm done (today) I'll pm your gamertag to coordinate further.
I'd imagine somebody else may be able to do it sooner though, perhaps.

Deus Ex (should) arrive today, and now I'm torn between finishing up DW6 and playing it. never really got into the series on the PC, so it should be interesting. I'm a over halfway through lvling all of chars to 50 though. so I think I'll delay starting it until later in the week.
I'm guessing looking at the achievements that it's going to be Deus Ex is around the length of Alpha Protocol... otherwise that'll be pretty interesting.

Any time I say 'woo' about some acomplishment with an achievement or something like that, my wife laughs and says that I'm silly. Then she says something about imaginary accomplishments, but I tune her out as I'm thinking to myself, "I rock so very hard!"
Just finished getting 1000/1000 on Alpha Protocol.
It took me four consecutive playthroughs and amazingly enough I'm still not tired of playing the game. Every run-through took a different turn in story terms. Hell, I'm almost tempted to start up a fifth game and play through it again to what else I can find.
If only Obsidian had cleared out all the bugs that this game was rife with and tightened up the gameplay mechanics a bit, then maybe it would have gotten better reviews and done well enough to get a sequel greenlit.
Doing the co-op mission achievement for Kill Team by myself was pretty easy! My second dude only died twice. The kills from the first player slowly charge up the special meter for the second, so I got to drop a turret from the empty controller pretty often.
It's a good thing you only have to do one mission and not the whole game though.

Yeah. I'm currently working through it. It will be three and a half playthroughs. (The 'half' was when I was going to Judge, Jury, etc. and stupidly chose the PDA response with Surkov. And in some cases I save scummed to take care of some achievements I most definitely didn't want to replay the game to get.)
The gameplay reminds me of the final mission for the first Splinter Cell. That bit where suddenly you have to run and gun in spite of a whole game of going slow and sticking to the shadows? Yeah. Fuck that noise. AP is similar to that with the added bonus of not being particularly good with the stealth.
I've enjoyed playing it, but it should have been better. It's just merely 'okay'. I figure I'll wrap it up either tonight or sometime tomorrow.
It's a game devoted to College Football using universities that are predominantly black. EA sure as shit doesn't give a damn about the lower levels, so why not?
I've always been curious about that title and how it compares to EA games.
I've been trying to get more achievements in Guitar Hero 3. It sucks when difficulty achievements don't stack. I can only listen to Foghat so many times.
I'm also pretty sure I'll never get 500 ranked online wins either.

You should just give that one up. GH3 had the absolute worst and cheap achievements I think I've seen for any game. They were just all kinds of stupid.

This, basically.
I like it when the percentage of the number of achievements you unlock roughly matches the amount of points you get. This doesn't have to be an even amount (Dead Rising is pretty dull that way. Fifty achievements, twenty points each.), but it would be nice if it was close. GH3 has 59 achievements and after I unlocked 20 of them (including three worth zero points) I only had 160 total points.
That game has too many achievements tied in to co-op and online stuff. And that 500 ranked one is one of the absolute worst ever.
GH3 is right up there with Rumble Roses XX for being the poster children for shitty achievement planning. Plenty of games are terrible about it, but those two excel where others merely pretend.
DW7's achievements are so much saner than 6. The lack of difficulty achievements helps too.
yea, sort of. DW7 has clear all the conquest mode stages, which ate up a lot of time too... there's really only 1 achievement in DW6 that's a major time sink, the level 50 one.
I have 1000/1000 on both, lol.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
fuck that 5 point all Leaderboard Crowns achievement in Perfect Dark. You have to be obsessed or have no other games or something like that. How can I justify replaying levels over and over again instead of playing any number of other new games?
You know what's weird? Rumble Roses XX still retails for near full price for its time online.
Really? When I bought it, I got it for ten or fifteen.
I was looking at the prices for buying it new, used it fluxes all over the place but EH at buying used video games online. well, except for ebay. and unfortunately the last non-gamestop lvgs in the area that I knew of is now a gamestop. I might check there but it's not that serious of a need for me to get it other than it having a very interesting achievement set.
That said, still kinda miffed at not getting Deus Ex's pacifist achievement and wasting a few more hours today speed running where I thought I failed it but apparently didn't. Didn't kill people in the prologue, but according to the game I did, so that's that. Now it's just going to sit at 805/1000 for a bit because I'm just not feeling it atm.
Don't even know what to start playing now, heh. I pulled Dead to Rights: Retribution and Vanquish off the stack as options, but I just dunno. Kind of tired of shooters people again... so I may play Clone Wars. I just did the TFU2's DLC... kicking ewoks was fun, and I love how that game's DLC seems to be an attempt to troll star wars fans.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
I recommend against Rumble Roses. The amount of effort involved is just beyond stupid. Getting all the achievements will take between 500 and 800 hours. Depending on luck.

lol, you keep telling me that... it only makes me want to get it. :P
Its like climbing one of the worlds deadliest mountains, if it were covered in oil. And was actually a female wrestler, or something.
“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
There is one achievement for 250 points. Most people tend not to get it. The reason is that you have to get all the outfits for all the girls. Sounds simple enough until you discover that that includes the thirty 'blank' girls that exist so that you can 'create' your own wrestler. There are fifty total girls to wrestle and win enough matches so that they each earn about 400,000 Rumble Roses fun bux just to have the money to buy all the costumes.
If you know exactly what you're doing, then each girl has to win 270 matches earning at least 1500 fun bux each time. And if you dedicate any time to doing it, it takes maybe six hours for one girl. And that's six hours just to grind victories to earn the money to buy the shit for one achievement. This doesn't even include all the silly damned things you have to do just to unlock the costumes in the first place.

I promise you, you don't want this game.
That reads like: this mountain has killed 90% of the people that attempted to climb it. Including four world record setting professional climbers.
But I'm different. Totally.
I can do this.

Speaking of deadly mountains, I'm now up to 365gs in Guitar Hero 3. I just did left-handed mode on Easy and have to go back and five star some of the songs. Still have medium too. Whoever thought of these achievements should die in a fire.

wow, 500 online wins on GH3? do people still play GH3 online?
After my disc for GoW2 cracked I stopped playing it, got a new copy with the maps and jumped back into it since it's under 50% completion... mistake. It's not like riding a bike. Doesn't help that I only cleared the SP campaign and did minimal MP... but yeesh. I get the feeling that'll be staying sub-50%. I lost my way to level 12 or so this weekend. It may have been harder because I was trying to win three games of wingman for that achievement, of which I only won one... back in 2008. if I decide to run with it a lot of the achieves can be done vs bots... I think. I dunno. it really helped to burn me out on shooters.

I only care about hitting the even numbers. I'm happy to 'spoil' it by playing more games.

bleh, delivery missed. looks like I'll keep the level-train going in DW6 tonight.
Also got all the achievements in Toy Soldiers Cold War, but thats really piss easy, I actually hoped they would be alot harder.
And now, nothing to play while waiting for Deus Ex.
Good thing I like playing Zombies anyway :rotate:
