Just finished getting the platinum in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5. That's a pretty bad game, but there's some fun to be had if you love old Tony Hawk enough. Basically they got enough of the feel right that it's fun just to skate around doing tricks and stuff, but a lot of the levels are bad and a lot of the missions they made in those levels are bad. Plus technically it's a shit show. It looks extremely unimpressive, and then the frame rate is horrible on top of that for some reason. So yea, it's bad.
The trophies were easy (assuming you are good at Tony Hawk from the old games at least) but extremely grindy. Just doing the same crappy missions over and over again with all the different characters, and then having to grind around in circles for like an hour at the end of it all to really put a crap cherry on top.
Don't really know whats up next trophy wise. I've got some games on deck but they're all ones i know up front im not going to even try platinum. You would have to be crazy to try to 100% Divinity Original Sin I think.
Transformers is free for PS+ next week if you are interested. I am almost done with Nom Nom Galaxy, just have to wait on the daily challenges. It is a really weird and quirky but not difficult. Also working on a strange little JRPG called Oreshika in the Vita but I am a long grind away from finishing it. I think after Nom Nom Galaxy I am going to do Saints Row IV and Gat out of Hell. Something a little more mainstream.
I'm going to play transformers but looking at the trophy list I won't go for the plat. You have to play through it a zillion times and also SS rank every level etc. I'm not great at that kind of character action game generally, though I do enjoy playing them from time to time.
I've got Soma on deck, that will probably be my next plat since the trophies are basically just for playing through it heh. Plus my wife and I played through The Bunker earlier this week, and that plat is super easy too so I'll probably wrap that up soon. Pretty neat game that, though it's really a barely interactive tv show more than a game. Nice creepy atmosphere though, and fun to play through with my wife.

Just got my final cheevo for Rock Band Blitz: play 300 unique songs. Not as tough as Gold Star every Blitz song but took a lot longer. First Rock Band game I've ever 100%'d too!
My 300th song was Jeremy by Pearl Jam. Fucking love that song.
And Nom Nom Galaxy is done. I think that is my rarest platinum at .1% and it was not too bad overall. I am actually in the process of playing through skyrim legendary edition on my buddies Ps3 which is just as good as I remember. Not sure if I am going to buy the remaster but all the buzz got me in the mood for some more skyrim. Still plugging away at Oreshika on my Vita as well when I am not home. But like most JRPGs it is a bit of a grind.
Man, I've been slacking off heavily in achievement hunting lately. Most of my time has been spent on STO at this point. Maybe I'll break 200k in 2017? lol.
@Brainiac 8: Assuming the trophies are of a social nature, you can hit up truetrophies.com (sister site of trueachievements) to see if there are sessions to work on them together. I don't think what you're trying to get are of a competitive nature, right? (Never played/followed Journey).

There is one trophy on Journey that is about playing through most of the game with the same partner. I'm not sure how you can tell since you don't know who you are playing with.
Yeah playstation trophies is definitely the way to go for multiplayer trophies. It is how I finished several games. Still don't understand why developers think putting multiplayer trophies in solo focused games is a good idea.

Finished Deus Ex Mankind Divided 1000/1000 yesterday, last one was the Permadeath mode one "I didnt ask for this" (actually there is DLC but I dont have it)
Got Destiny to its full 1500/1500 today, I dont think that this one will get any more achievements.
clearing the permadeath game modes in the Dead Space franchise and dying more to environmental triggers than actual combat makes me leery of permadeath modes. :P

Fallout 4 - 1600/1600
Dragon Age: Inquisition - 1570/1570
Finally got those two properly finished, Dragon Age in particular has taken me over a year and a half.
Guess its The Division next, after the 1.4 patch, the game feels much more rewarding and I'm only missing 2 achievements.
I have the platinum in Fallout 4 but I am going to wait for a cheaper season pass before I pick up the DLC. Warframe had a double XP weekend this weekend so I put my Skyrim trophy hunting in hold. I should get the platinum and then 100% this week.

Foxiest of the Hounds was my worst one, it bugged out on me and didnt unlock on my first run even though I was extremely thorough and also looked up all the "buggy" places that could void it in advance too, (talking to Miller at a specific point, Ice Drill etc.)
I didnt have problems with that one in the first Deus Ex though.

It didn't pop correctly for me either actually, but the game is relatively short once you got the route down so stealth blitzing through it on ng+ is the route I took to confirm that trophy. Ended up with three playthroughs, but game was enjoyable enough that it didn't bother me.
Ps3 Skyrim legendary edition platinum and 100% plus Murdered Soul Suspect for the PS4 platinum accomplished today. Soul Suspect had a pretty good plot and I enjoyed it. Plus it only took about 6.5 hours which was nice. I think I am going to do some of my other shorter games now as well. Walking dead, wolf among us, and deadly tower of monsters are up next. Each should take less then 10 hours and it should get my platinum count up to 36,putting me on track for my 2 platinum a month plan. Plus it will make a nice dent in my backlog.
Just got my 20th Platinum, with Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum
My list so far (in order obtained)
Burnout Paradise (PS3)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
Infamous (PS3)
God of War (PS3)
Assassin's Creed II (PS3)
Soul Calibur II HD Online (PS3)
Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus (PS3)
Lego Marvel Super Heroes (PS4)
Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition (PS4)
Guacamelee (PS3)
Final Fantasy VII (PS3)
Lego Jurassic World (PS4)
Hitman GO (PS4)
Ratchet and Clank (PS4)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered (PS4)
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (PS4)
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (PS4)
South Park: The Stick of Truth (PS4)
Hannah Montana: The Movie (PS3)
Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum (PS4)
Next I'll be going through Arkham City to get that Plat
And later this month? That Ezio trilogy comes out, which means I'll be able to Platinum AC2 (for a third time, I got the PS3 Platinum and Xbox 1000/1000 for it) and Platinum Brotherhood (on 360, I got every Achievement except for multiplayer ones, and multiplayer is thankfully gone this time)
Who knows, maybe I'll do Revelations just to round out that trilogy, but that game was rather dreadful the first go-round
Just finished the platinum for Dragon Quest Builders myself. It's not hard in the least, though unless you really plan ahead you're going to have to do two runs of each level.
Went back and mopped up the 150 items for Rocket League as well, bringing me to 16.

Attaboy. Rocket League is definitely a worthy plat.
I have a really bad habit of deleting games as soon as (or soon after) I get the plat, even if it's something that I enjoy playing or would/should consider coming back to periodically. Rocket League is one example. The Division is another. Infamous: First Light. Now N++. I love going for plats, but I have such an itchy trigger finger to delete games when I get that last trophy. The Witness is a half-exception - I kept that on my system after getting the plat and would do that timed endgame run before bed when I didn't want to commit to more than 10 minutes of anything... but I eventually deleted it. I think the only games on my PS4 right now are Destiny, GTAV, MLB The Show 16, and a few PS+ titles.
I need something new to chase. I'm thinking of picking up BF1 (and maybe not going for the plat with it, although I've heard it's not too hard). Or maybe something from my wish list (Headlander, Volume, Severed, Virginia, Ratchet & Clank, Soma). I'm in that weird paralyzed-by-indecision mode in between games, where I don't want to start something new. Last time I was in this spot, I jumped into Gone Home, which was a blast.
Finally finished my last trophy and got the platinum for Samurai Warriors 3 Z. I had gotten all the others back in 2011 but needed a second controller for the last one. Once I had that, it only took five minutes to finish off.
A year late, but I finally beat Assassin's Creed Syndicate, 100% with DLC included. I've gotten every achievement in each game since the first, excluding the Chronicles games.
Mechanically it's very solid, but I didn't much care for the setting or story, which is why it took so long for me to finish. Thankfully there's not another AC this year.
I had a bit of a scare with the DLC. Somehow, four of my side missions were completely missing. They weren't on the map and weren't available on the progression log replay menu. Luckily they popped back up after replaying the second DLC story mission. One of the DLC achievements was to 100% everything in it, and I certainly wasn't going to do that again.
I earned my platinum in Saints Row IV, with the DLC, at 40 hours even since it is required for a trophy. A fun game and I liked the superpowers angle but it did get pretty damn silly. Now I am starting Everybody's Gone to the Rapture which should be pretty short. I was going to go ahead and knock out Gat out of Hell but it has coop trophies and I can't be bothered at the moment. I managed to only pick up 3 games during black Friday : Darkest Dungeon (ps4/vita), Grand Theft Auto :Vice City, and Dark Cloud 2. Sadly they are all long platinum games so my backlog increased exponentially.
I really liked the Dark Cloud franchise. Sucks that they haven't made a sequel (that I'm aware of) and that it's on a platform that I have no interest in owning, but eh. I still have my original Dark Cloud 2 discs and a PS2... maybe one day, lol.
edit: I really doubt Level-5 will ever release a title on a Microsoft console any time in the future given what happened with True Fantasy Online.
edit2: responding to the post below!
I also need to do the score attack stuff for RoTR, and the other DLC. I just got to the score attack and was like... "I don't feel like doing this."

Knocked out The Order and Gravity Rush Remastered plats last week. Got most of Rise of the Tomb Raider done, just need to do the Score Attack mode nonsense (I really don't like it, but it's been okay so far by just copying the settings of the top scorers on the leaderboards).
Only a few out from finishing FFXV now as well, which I will finish before going back to TR.

Damn how short is FFXV? Or have you just put a ton of time into it?

Lot of time, ended up having last week off anyway since I had built up time. The plat isn't particularly difficult though.

Finally finished The Division (so far...) for 1300/1300, that last UG achievement was a bitch to get friends online for, Survival also had some pretty demanding achievements.
I wonder what kind of DLC the last one will be, which is called Last Stand.

there'll probably be a bump in people playing Burnout Paradise with it being free this month. already played it a bit back in the day, so i'll at least try and knock out a few more achievements even if i don't go for any of the online stuff.
I was going to offer to help until I remembered I let my gold lapse when I got my ps4.

It's not really a matter of needing help. More just a general complaint about EA going online crazy with a bunch of their games. I'm sure I could get help from this thread or the XBL thread if it came to it.
