Bought DVD version, but need CD's. cant retur

Like a fool I bought the DVD version of Dark Crusade.. unforutunatley I don't have a DVD reader. I can not return the game so I am stuck with a CD key and a DVD copy. Is it possible to get the CD's from relic or something? Any help is appreciated..

They won't care it was opened? Friend had something similar happen to him and they would not accept it.
He probably opened the package and put in the DVD thinking it was a normal CD, and you can't return an opened PC game anywhere as far as I know.
go grab the CD version. goto help desk and tell them you want to replace the game. don't tell them you are chaging because you bought the wrong version.
just make sure they know you are replacing it with the same game.

Which IMO they should stop releasing them, I am annoyed that the majority of games are still on cd instead of dvd's
I cannot stand installing a game on 5 cd's such as WoW instead of one dvd. but o well hopefully the majority will be dvd from now on.

I just use one of those trial DVD's when i reinstall. ^_^
These game companies will put out games that'll give your $400 video card and $300 CPU and $300 worth of RAM a workout, but they don't dare put out their game on media that would require a $15 optical drive that's been commonplace since about 1999.

Also, any store should let you switch it for the same product. We even switch it for other consoles. Just go return it.
