Cody went from happy to miserable really fast. I didn't even get it. We lost the first game when we should have won and he was happy, then we lost the second game being outplayed and he was miserable.
Hahaha. They are doing Multiplayer Survivor, right? Because right now I can do a server where you have infinite blocks and can just build, but that doesn't seem as fun.
I'll get you guys back on topic. I haven't owned an NHL game since NHL 2002. Despite having played hockey for a couple of years and followed the league religiously for a while, I no longer follow hockey. That said, is NHL 11 a game that I can break out when people come over (said people have no idea how hockey works, can't play video games, or both) and is it worth an upgrade over NHL 10, which is markedly cheaper?
I'd say if you're just gonna break it out when people come over, go with NHL 10.
It's a pretty hard game to "pick up and play" unless you switch to the old NHL 94 controls. The skill stick takes getting used to, and you will feel pretty silly the first little while while you get used to it.
If they keep it like NHL 10, yes, you can break this out when people come over. They have NHL 94 controls, which are just button presses (as opposed to using the analog sticks).
You could also jump into shootout mode or playoff mode too. Get NHL 11 for sure. There are going to be little improvements that will be worth it (ie physics engine, broken sticks, etc).
It's worth it for the hardcore like us, but for someone who's just going to pick it up every once in awhile when friends come over, I do NOT see the tweaks they'll be making as something to justify spending $40 more on.
NHL 10 is a great game, and if you can find it for $20-$30 it sounds like it would be better for you to save the rest of your money and just get that.
Seriously, all of you stop doing this shit. I can only laugh out loud at work so much. Haha.
I am done work at 3 today. Remlap, we are going to transform tonight, right?!
I am off the next 4 days, so I am going to hopefully work on some Hotsteppers goodness along with other things I am working on. CCF, I couldn't play last night because I was at my friend's place and we were working on XNA (Xbox Indie Games) stuff. I didn't even have the NHL disc with me (surprisingly haha).
Also, you guys need to start giving me any videos you have of yourselves stepping. Images too.
So, how many times in the first few weeks of NHL 11 will I be yelled at for breaking my stick while trying to rip shit and letting up breakaways because I don't have a stick?
I am just waiting for one of you to never stop jumping on the ice.
So, how many times in the first few weeks of NHL 11 will I be yelled at for breaking my boner while trying to rip some ass and letting up breakaways because I don't have a dick?
I am just waiting for one of you to never stop jizzing on the ice.
I hate you all and wish I could play. I head on the road tomorrow, tour for a month, a jazz festival in september, and then back here late september for some nhl 11.

It honestly doesn't look like my thing. I'm giving it a pass.
RISK, though. That was legit good times. We can't never play RISK again. There was WAY too much laughter to shelve that.
I'm always up for another game of RISK or L4D2
And I am always up for other games. People are just always playing NHL. It isn't my fault you quit on RDR, remlap
The NHL thread provides all.
And make up your mind, I've seen you go on and offline 90 times in a 3 hour period.

Piz, how's the hangover?
Champions don't get hangovers!
Actually I'm pretty good today, if I wasn't so tired when I got back I would have jumped on to play a game or two.
Good. I've missed you baby.
Fuckin' god damn hamsters.

Fixed.
Cody, if you broke your stick then there would be a legitimate reason for you letting up a breakaway

Jonny "Bones" Jones against The Angry Russian. Should be good.
EDIT:
Ok, coming on. Who wants to go?
