So when I shoot a bunch a mans, and they leave four horses just sitting around:
1) how can I tell which horse I should take?
2) what do I do with the rest? Can't seem to lead them to town and sell them.
Well, you can look at the descriptions of the three star horses you can buy in a General Store and remember those. (I believe Kentucky Streamer is the golden one you catch during the quest that gives you the lasso.) You can't really do anything to the other horses, other than shoot and skin them.

Well, I'd love to play multiplayer, but every time I try to get in I get a connection error and it kicks me to single player.
I tried to rock some private free roam with a pal and it just flat didn't work; we took turns inviting each other over only to be unable to see each other or NPCs or what-have-you. Said friend was able to safely crawl all over a gang hideout, unable to interact with enemies, planting dynamite which usefully registered on my end.
Make sure your routers support UPnP. It's what kept my Uncharted co-op sessions from working, which is still weird because it worked fine for a while then never again.
Also, does the duster in single player make you look like Lorenzo Lamas but more badass?
So how do I mark guys during Deadeye? I can blast them, but I can't figure out how to mark them for automatic blasting. Is it something that is unlocked?

Yeah, there's three levels of Deadeye and you can't mark until the 2nd and 3rd level.
This is going to sound a bit unusual, but - can you do a single-player free-roam session?
I like unlocking things (the extra characters, horses, etc.) and that sounds cool and all, but I'm really not much of a multiplayer person (not enough time anymore to get things set up). Is it possible to play the game like that?

Same here. I was with CardinalP for a little while, and we were blasting fools. It seems like it'll be really fun once it stops shitting itself inside out. Which, since it's a Rockstar game, will likely never happen.

Probably start a private game and don't invite anyone.
Sounds like you should be able to start a private session and not invite anyone, but you might still have to get the servers to not hate you. But that's just a wild guess, my copy is still several states away.

Yes. There are single player MP challenges you can do, however you will get MORE Exp actually doing MP with people.

I guess I'd need a Live account to do this. I never set one up.

Too true unfortunately
I REALLY hope they fix the multiplayer, but past experience doesn't give me much hope.

Yea; maybe I missed it, but there isn't a way to create your own game world. You can probably get friends to buy-in, but if its not full anyone can stroll to your world.

I felt bad killing coyotes. moreso because I was around a bunch of em before I unlocked that trial or whatever it's called, and then couldn't find more.
The new hard drive didn't work - a blank, brand new drive, I haven't even done the transfer process yet. Locks up anyway. The only thing left is to buy a new box. I can't buy a new box today. Am very despondent. Thinking of returning the game and weeping into a beverage of some kind.

At least you isolated the problem...

RAndom dudes and auto aim yuck
I think my dream game would be two tesms of 8 in free roam one approaching from south, one north in a small town.

I keep restarting\reloading because I accidentally kill civilians/good guys. This is the first time I've ever done that, at least on the first playthrough.
I just really really want to be the Jerusalem Man I guess.

I accidentially ran over a stranger with my horse while wagering with him and failed and had to kill him... he died a quick death.

Yeah, you missed it. You can start a private, friends only free roam game. That way, no one can stroll in except your friends.
There is also a "Community" option under the multiplayer menu that refers to your current Xbox Party, which should make it easier to jump into a game that is going on in your party.
Well there you go. Private RDR. Singple Player MP still sucks for experience though (I think you get like 1 exp for killing npc's, and Free Roam world isn't very populated).

Playing Free Roam on your own is not nearly as fun as it is in a posse with a few friends.
Step 1: Invite friends into a party.
Step 2: Join a free roam game with your party (I think you can do it in one swoop with the 'community' option)
Step 3: Annihilate everyone in town until they stop coming back. Even then, chase them down on your horses and do it again. See a guy alone in a field? Have you and your friends circle him on your horses firing your rifles into the air yelling "YEEEEE HAAAAW!" over the mic!
*Pro tip: Hold up on the D-Pad while talking so that your voice is transmitted to the entire server. It is transmitted to your posse no matter what, but others only hear if you're nearby.
I also want to start some stage coach jousting matches. Stage coaches, not simple wagons. One person in the driver's seat, one person in the coach itself, leaning out with a rifle. The objective is to kill the opponent in THEIR coach, not the driver. If you kill the driver, you lose a point. If you kill a horse, it's hilarious.
They need to turn off localized voice chat, imo. Give us posse chat and the session-wide chat with the button.
When 8 people are in a fight in an area all you hear is just GOOOROOOSOHROHXXXKKKT.
There is a sledgehammer-nut solution for this one: disable voice chat except from people on your friends list.
It's in your Account Management settings I believe. You'll never hear voice chat in any game except from people on your friends list. Worked wonders in games like Gears and MW2.
