I love playing as Ken and dashing up to Flowchart Kens on knockdown and EX Shoryukening on their wakeup. They're spamming SRK for the reversal and right as they stand up BOOM, face full of fire. Or, fiyah, if you will.
Except that the SE will break and you'll need replacement parts and you will go days or weeks without a stick at regular intervals.
Buy the TE. It is a fantastic stick.
On that note, I noticed last night while playing Hiryu that my stick is 'loose' in the bottom right corner. Downback has claimed another victim.

Somewhere along the line I made an unconcious choice to not play a triksy Blanka, and for some matches it really helped. All the tricks in the book don't work against Zangief or T Hawk, so it's just pokes and fundamentels. Some matches I just havn't figured out what to do yet (Dhalsim and Dictator).
Shenanigans are saved for scrubby shotos, because they deserve them.
Ibuki is so fun to play against people that don't block low. I got a perfect against a Dudley using almost exclusively neckbreakers. I kind of figured he'd eventually start blocking, but nope.

See, lots of Ibuki's online spam that. I have no idea what to do when neckbreaker isn't coming out. She's probably the character I have the 2nd hardest time with at the moment (assuming a decent person is playing her and not spamming neckbreaker). #1 being E.Honda. He is my kryptonite.

Well, once I'm done with RDR in a couple of days, I think I'm going to start playing this again. But I'm not going to be playing ranked nor am I going to be playing competitively at all.
What I'd like to find is some people to play with who play very, very casually---who don't really main characters or anything but just mess around with various characters at a pretty basic skill level. I mean, ideally I'd like to find some people who would like to play the way I play with my brother. We like winning, but any time the other person starts dominating we either tank it a little bit or play a character we're not very good with.
I know that a lot of you guys are pretty competitive and wouldn't enjoy this style of play, but if anyone would be interested PM me and I'll add you for later.

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
Makoto is still fun as ever when you get a groove going. Too bad jab mashing stuffs most of her offense

I played 4400+bp makoto today and I was pretty excited, but he had no idea how to defend anything I did against him. I really want to run into a makoto that just crushes me online so I can save a video of the match and dissect everything.

I finally got some quality playtime in with Super earlier today with a friend of mine. We played 100 matches and I went 55-45. A lot of Juri, Makoto, Chun, Vega, Rose, Ibuki, and Gouken. Basically a lot of bitches.
