Maybe 6. I just logged on and my internet is being crap again. I wonder if it's my roommates doing stupid shit. They've been home all day since the semester ended. Oh well, if it's that at least it will be over by Monday when they move out.
Anyway, I'll try again closer to starting time. Maybe it'll have cleared up by then.
God dammit I want to play right now, but my son is on a Toy Story kick, and the only way he can watch it is on the TV hooked up to the PC, and he knows not to sit at the computer desk, so he refuses to watch it on the monitor. I can't hook the 360 up in his room because he doesn't have HDMI inputs...

tell him to go do some unnecessary chores like folding washcloths.
bonus points if they are already folded but you make him do it again.
I should probably preface by saying I had dental work done today and am inshit loads of pain, and probably will not have the mic on. Was just talking in the SE++ lobby, and that was a stupid idea.
Question for you guys. I've been working on getting used to my TE, and most stuff feels like it should pretty much come with practice, except for double QCF (from the player 1 side). Is there some way of holding the stick where that's not a completely unnatural motion involving my entire arm?
I dunno how you're holding it, but a double QCF motion should not require a big arm movement. I personally work the stick:winky: with a firm yet fluid grip using thumb, pointer and middle. The wrist and knuckle movements generally allow me to execute any moves I would like to make.
Sounds pretty much like the way I do it, I think. Is the motion basically all done by the fingers for that one, then? I think the problem is that the angle I need to move it in is the same angle my arm's at, so I can't get any leverage with my wrist. If it's just a finger speed issue, I can work on that, I figure. (I'm overthinking this, I'm sure)
Someone please please please PLEASE give me a strategy to beat Vega.
I can't take it anymore. Anytime I'm matched against a Vega player I am completely and utterly decimated.
I've tried everything and nothing works. Why is he so fucking overpowered?
Six wins in a row and it's down the drain yet again. I think I need to take a break from this for a couple of days. I'm actually feeling unhealthy here.
the main thing to do is get pressure on vega. he has shit reversals and basically no wakeup game at all. if you can get him pressured and backed up into the corner youre probably going to smash him. i dont really know how to do this with t hawk, but still. get up in his shit.
You give someone a few hundred bucks for custom tailored outfits and an HD camera, and you get 3 minutes that are better than 3 hours of garbage from Steve de Souza and Andrzej Bartkowiak combined that cost $85 million.

Sign up, 17 is literally the worst number ever for dividing up seeds.
Preliminary seeds: Week 2 rules - Due to the low number of people here's what we're doing. You have to play everyone in your seed, AND the next seed. Your paired seed is listed with your seed.
Seed 1 - Pairs with Seed 2
Lord Palington
Chadwalk
klokateer9047
Seed 2 - Pairs with seed 1
ChaosHat
Blackbeard
Skye
Seed 3 - Pairs with 4
Boceifus
The Sneak
DitchDoofa
Seed 4 - Pairs with 3
Barrabas
Lunixy
AdamConroy
Seed 5 - Pairs with 6
TheUnsane1
Sivraj
Kinderparty
Seed 6 - pairs with 5
StokedUp
Blaze_Zero
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SOMEONE SIGN UP FOR THIS SPOT
So, for example, I play everyone in my seed (seed 1) and my paired seed, seed 2. The top from each seed will advance, followed by the next best two records from all seeds.
Man, it's hard to get my local friends interested in fighting games. It'd be a lot easier if they gave us a System Direction menu like the console versions of 3rd Strike did (obviously not usable in ranked and such). Doing a bunch of broken stuff like having infinite supers or access to all Ultras at once and turning on air blocking and such is enough to entertain them.

EDIT: Love the focus attack at 1:44 haha.
Not bad, but it lacked something.
Was very impressed by the intro; they actually spoke Japanese. The fight was good up until the hadoukens.
Sorry Blackbeard if I seemed annoyed after losing. Frustrating getting hit by those ultras and then baiting them and whiffing mine. Especially after going 5 and 0. Just let my emotions get the best of me and lost track of the actual fight. Grats to the both of ya.

Nah, it's cool. What come out to essentially equal Codys was a pretty tough fight. I had a rough idea of what you were going to do, since it would usually be something I'd do, so I'd have to be a few steps ahead of my own thought process. If that makes any sense.
That's the main reason i use U2 now though, as a punisher. U1 can't do that since it's got such a slow start.

Get on irc?
Looks really promising, but why are Ryu and Akuma so skinny? I know Ryu is jacked, I just mean mass-wise.
...damn looks like that was the whole thing.
