ie if you had 141 evs in a stat and wanted to have 60, the first berry would lower it to 100, and then you would need 4 more to get it to 60
Quick question. Has it ever been confirmed that trading often in the battle factory produces better pokemon at the beginning of the rounds?
Thats what strategy guides have said, but I posted that idea once a while ago and everyone thought it sounded ridiculous.

I know it was this for Emerald, because trading every round produced things like Latios and such way earlier than trying to hold onto the same team.
I haven't seen that much of a difference in this gen's Battle Factory.

What are the general battle rules around here? Or does it very per person? "Smogen-like" OU and under? No legendaries period (even though many breedable pokemon can be better than them)? Item clause or no item caluse?
Generally it's no legendaries at all unless specified and no more than 2 of one item. Smogon Uber tier is also banned (e.g Garchomp) unless specified. Sleep clause is on.
If someone requests a battle and mentions nothing specific it's safe to assume it will be within those parameters, but you can always ask and request something different.

No, trading gives the traded pokemon a small EXP bonus. IVs can't be changed.
EDIT: Are we talking about the Battle Factory? You can't use your own pokemon for that anyway, unless there's some sort of weird exploit I don't know about.

he's talking about if you are always trading out pokemon in the factory, it will give you better pokemon to put on your team sooner (better movesets, IV's, pokemon in general)
However I do not believe the effect stacks, meaning if you lose after a string of 16 wins or so it resets back to normal and you have to trade repeatedly again. But yes, trading in the Battle Factory means better pokemon, absolutely.

Anyone have an extra Power Belt(def) and Power Bracer(atk) for trade? I have all sorts of stuff, just name your price (Also have extra pikachu-colored pichus.)

Now that I'm online with it I'll probably start looking for good guys for my team, but I'd feel bad trading because everything I have is basically junk to people who've been playing for a while. I still have a Rattata on my team.
