Thanks for the congrats, guys! I saw a bunch more people afterwards, including my old roommates, and it turns out a large handful of people I'm good friends with are going to be in NYC this summer! 2 hours away from me! Made me very happy to hear.
any one know what a concept artist can expect to get salary wise?
Depends on where you live, your experience, size of the company.....etc.
From my research over the years, I'd guess anywhere from $30,000 to $80,000, reasonably. After that, you're either hella-famous and make bank, or an art director. :P I've heard of concept artist salaries hitting $150k+, but again, that's almost definitely for amazingly-fucking talented people who've got many, many years of experience and have had many, many clients under their belt.
I'm not sure about the current markets, but I'm figuring that they're not what they used to be, heh. Before they went under, Flagship Studios paid some really good money, for instance...$60k starting out, if you were really good. $80k starting if you were amazing. I interviewed a girl a few years ago, who worked there.

I'm really getting into animation a lot more since working on this music video. Damn, I wish I could show you guys some of the footage, it's a little rough around the edges in some spots but I'm so proud of how it's looking!

I think Id do some kind of highly carbonated ice cream float. Like cherry soda with vanilla icecream and a wafer cookie sticking out. Or cherry icecream in vanilla soda with an umbrella.

And indeed, the House season finale was excellent. I go back and forth on that show so much, watch a few episodes then get sick of it and then usually come back at the end of the season and get sucked back in.
I have to say though that "relationship" between Chase and Cameron is really rather retarded. Would be nice if theyd just kill her off.
But I also liked seeing Wash get killed in Serenity even though it made me cry since he was one of my favorite characters, so maybe Im weird.
I also cried in Mulan when I saw it in the theatre though.
I think I may have issues.

Kirsch is a european cherry liqueur, and contreau is just there to add a little sweetness. (I'm gonna assume vodka needs no explanation).

The problem isn't the size of his hand, but the size of your monitor. It is baby small :P
I will have you know, sir, that for one thing baby monitors do not have internet access, I've tried!
