The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I've always really liked his art. Nobody in the history of illustration could draw barbarians and scantily-clad, Martian warrior princesses as well as Frazetta.
I guess I'll do my part and increase the amount of half-naked warriors in my own stuff as a tribute.
Everyone should watch his documentary, dude was awesome.

you guys know the quest in wow where you have to plant a flag on a mound in ashenvale, and all the furbolgs come rushing at you in waves and waves and you kill them all and by the end you're standing on a pile of dead monsters, victorious and barely alive
frazetta made crazy posters and for the most part, a lot of his work on book covers weren't even specifically created for em. cats would just look at a frazetta painting and just attach it to something that seemed a fit

i have. the first time i seen it was midway through the film
glenn danzig kept talkin about some sort of shit and then i saw big tittie women and finally, i had a name to put to the work which is something i make a point of learning
the most famous frazetta shot aside from the Death Dealer, is the big titty woman atop a pile of skulls reaching up alongside the leg of a stoic looking conan with a sword
that picture is the basis for a lot of movie posters, including the original star wars: a new hope poster
thing is, the documentary where i remember learning this is probably more than a few years old
memory serves, he's done a few paintings or illustrations since then? which speaks to his talent, doing something like that at his age, and competently

Today, I'll wear a loincloth and a grimace out of respect for this great man.
But he did have a very long career.

yeah, he had a stroke and had to train himself how to paint left-handed.
OH MY GOD THAT FUCKING MOVIE

holy shit that rules
well not the stroke part but still
that is the definition of Bad Ass Artist
it was just the kind of thing you could pore through always and every image contained in itself an amazing adventure
also titties
very crucial at that age
Pony should be inspired!
So this is Manos... the... Hands of Fate.
