Really. It's got amazing characters, awesome fights, great dialogue, wonderful storytelling, and an epic ending. It's honestly one of my favorite TV shows, up there with Dr. Who and The Prisoner.

The series follows a British former secret agent who is held prisoner in a mysterious seaside village where his captors try to find out why he abruptly resigned from his job.
But... that doesn't do it justice.
It shows a truly Orwellian society, and what happens to that society when you have someone essential that just will not submit. It's a unique series in that the protagonist is much more proactive. Some episodes are Number Two and the Village trying to get Number Six to submit. Some revolve around Number Six's plots to escape.
I was pretty fortunate to have access to a library that had all of the DVDs. It's only one season (17 episodes), so it's well worth watching.

The original Prisoner is awesome, psychedelic and thought-provoking. Also they reused some unfilmed scripts from the lead's other major show, a Western (?!)

And the damn screaming. How does a white balloon scream? God, that kept me up at night when I first watched it.
So I stopped paying attention to Last.fm after I was unceremoniously Day 1'd. Does anybody know who I have to grudge for that abrupt end to my return to Phalla?
On a more serious note: while normally I don't mind bandwagons, if you guys vote me off Day One of the Avatar Phalla, I will grudge everyone. Thanks you and have a nice day :P.
