Portable trading/business/tycoon-style games?

(Is there a genre name for what I'm about to describe?)

I really have a good time playing stuff like Transport Tycoon, Railroad Tycoon, Privateer, Pirates, you know what I'm talking about. Games where you invest some money to make more money. Hopefully along the way you get to upgrade your stuff to haul more/go faster/fly/make rainbows or whatever. Harvest Moon's style is good too, but those games always seem to be so slow-paced I can't keep interested.

The thing I like the most is when you find a good route to make a bunch of cash. Like in Transport Tycoon if you find a iron mine, steel mill, factory, and big town within reasonable distances from each other you can make a boatload moving that iron ore through the chain and selling it as Goods to the town. Tweaking your roads or train tracks to improve the delivery time is great. Same with Privateer/Pirates, moving the goods at the right time of year, getting a better ship and doing it again is great. And sometimes you have to kill the competition :)

Anyway, what are the best titles for this kind of game for portable consoles? I have a DS and a PSP that I've mostly used to play puzzle games and RPGs, but something business-sim like would be awesome.

I call them Simulations. But it's easily confused with the "simulator" genre.

I don't remember the name of it, but there's a recently-released fashion game for the DS which is, despite its subject matter, supposed to be fantastic.

    Style Savvy, maybe?

Weird, I've always referred to them as strategy games.

There's SimCity DS which is fairly solid, but the controls are a bit..off. Theme Park DS...same applies.

Sarah's Emergency Room seems like a Theme Hospital clone, but I've never played it. (EDIT - I think this is Wii only though, I could be wrong)

Not quite as 'business like' as you seem to be wanting, but a start I guess.

There's also Zoo Tycoon, never played it though.

Never heard of it but Anno 1701 sounds like a business/trading game for the DS

Settlers DS is also out there.
