Seriously. I logged in one time on my warrior at the Argent Stand in Zul'Drak and there was some alliance guy sitting there on it. After I regained consciousness from my dick hitting me in the face, I stayed there until he logged off half an hour later. That mount is amazing.

It's like a 2%. I happened to get it my first time in heroic OC but have not seen it since. The white polar bear and Anzu on the other hand... never seen either of those.
I remember the eye being terribly dull but that could just be bad memory or time passing or the fact that it was the most boring of the TBC raids to me.
I didn't know a mount dropped in UP. King Ymirion I am guessing? I may have to try and hit that one daily now. My Shaman has the brewfest mount too, the ram. I love that mount and wish I could trade it up to my Druid. Maybe I will have to do brewfest this year.
Edit: my friend that got me back into WoW again just hit 80 on his Druid so we are going to start duo farming for mounts in the not too distant future. ZG, Kara, Strath and Anzu are on the list now.

I love the phoenix. However, I still maintain that if a Phoenix suddenly became available to everyone, hardly anybody would ride it after the initial newness wore off. It wouldn't be special anymore. If they put it on the blizz store it would sell like 10 million, but then most people would stop using it once they realized everybody else had it too.
The blue proto-drake from UP is pretty rare, but it looks the same as other blue proto-drakes, so eh.
Not that those are terribly popular in and on itself, but it doesn't rate terribly high on "rare cool mounts"-o-meter.
Are there any other blue protos besides the one Skadi drops? I like that one just because I like blue, and I'm not recalling any other blue proto mounts.
Blue Drake can come from H OC. I don't know about the Azure Drake. Maybe thats what they are calling Maly's drake now? Also for the record 1500g for the Red Drake is waaaay too much. Just throwing that out there.
The Malygos drake is blue, but it's not a proto. That may be the one you're thinking about. It's actually called "Blue Drake" I think.
There's also the azure drake which, hell i don't know the difference

This is correct. The blue drake that drops from Oculus now is also the same one that dropped from Malygos 10. The Azure drake drops from 10 and 25 man Malygos now, and has armor on it and I think is a slightly darker tint of blue, but either way looks waaaaay cooler than the regular blue one.
And the blue proto from Skadi is the only blue proto drake. You get used to seeing the model doing Hodir dailies, and running UP, but it's the only proto that color.
Edit: Guy above was right. Blue is only Oculus now, Azure is 10/25 Maly now instead of 25 only.
Funny story involving an ele Shaman I know and rare mounts. He quit the game for a while then came back, ran Kara with us one time, Attumen's mount dropped the same day he came back and he won it. Fast forward to TBC, he comes back after a break and the first day is running a heroic with me and the blue proto dropped and he won it.
Now my wife and I took a break, came back, found a cool guild we wanted to app to, and found out after he's an officer in the guild and put in a good word for us.
We've gone in with 6 or 7 people and mopped the floor with him. I normally heal it on the priest in my sig. Biggest thing to watch out for is the trash leading up to him.. All the major mechanics of that fight dont matter anymore.. Dps has grown so much since then.. kick a pyroblast cast.. bout it, really.. I dont even think we pick up the weapons... I dont on my priest...
I've actually seen Attumen's twice. Once when I mentioned above, and another time a pug warlock who was terrible beyond belief won it. Guildies were mad that I didn't ninja it for one of us because the pug lock was so bad, but that's not me. =/ Funny thing is, I probably only ran Kara a combined 30 or 40 times, but I had friends that had done it probably 200 times across different characters and those 2 occurrences were the only times they had seen the Attumen mount.

I use the Cenarion War Hippogryph which puts my e-peen at a comfortable 6.25 inches. I have never seen anyone else on it, probably because it isn't rare enough which is a little strange if you think about it.

IIRC it's a 1% drop rate on a boss with a weekly reset that you can't just get a small group to farm.

My Shaman got the white polar bear while levelling the first time doing the daily.
My Pally got the brewfest mount becuase I was bored and decided to tank for someone asking in trade for the 4th time.
And for some stupid reason that's who I gave my zehvra too at the time.
