I think she's a good actress, she just has sketchy taste in movies.

I liked her in Resident Evil.

Man Rodriegez owes her entire career to Jenette Goldstein, and Goldstein could at least play more than one fucking part.

Also, I didn't know Nolan was directing the next Superman movie. Will he be using the actors from the Singer film? Namely, will Kevin Spacey be back as Lex Luthor?

He's not directing it, but he is working on the script with Goyer, and kind of making sure it gets through the studio's red tape to actually get made. He'll still have a lot of creative input.

I don't know if it's going to be the same universe as Singer's/Donner's Superman films, but I certainly hope not.

The problem with the last Superman movie was that it didn't really have much of a plot. It felt like a TV episode.

I liked Spacey as Luthor, but please please please let them move away from "Luthor is a mildly rich kook who steals dangerous shit and tries for a land-grab" and toward "Luthor is a ruthless genius who builds a global corporation and hates Superman for stifling human achievement."

Here's a novel idea. Don't have Luthor in the next film at all! Or if he's in it, use him as a b-level character, and not the main villain. I want to see Superman get into a fucking knock-down, drag-out fist fight with something for once.

I would love to see a Superman movie where he fights Darkseid

But then I would love to see a Superman movie that doesn't try to pay homage to Donner's films so much

Yeah, we get it, they were pretty great. How about we try something new and different for a change, though?

The Expendables looks like it could go either way. Would love for it to be Eastern Condors with an all-star cast of '80s action heros, but it looks suspiciously like a mediocre action flick with a bunch of cameos.

Machete will be awesome, I just wonder what took them so long. We were hearing that Rodriguez had this movie 80% complete back before QT even began filming Inglourious Basterds. Clearly he overhauled it with a new cast, but still...

I was skeptical when I heard about a TRON sequel, but Legacy looks badass. "It's just a game!" "Not anymore..."

I know. What's with every idiot studio producer thinking that setting the plot in the tropics automatically writes the movie by itself? I remember when The Mask sequel was this close to being set in Hawaii.

I always get the image of some wizened old vaudevillian producer, who couldn't be more out of touch, getting pitched a great idea and giving notes like, "Why don't we move the whole shebang over to Waikiki? Gladys and I went there in '43, had a ball! And oy, the girls in the little grass skirts . . . ."

And then he trails off into senility.

Bruce Willis is Joseph Gordon-Levitt...in the FUTURE

    [From /Film]
Bruce Willis is joining the cast of Looper, a science fiction time travel tale that reunites the Brick team of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and writer/director Rian Johnson. The Terminator-esque action film has a clever premise. Loopers are hit men whose victims are sent back in time from the future to be executed. The Loopers bump them off in the present, so there is no trace of a crime in the future. I'm told that Willis and Gordon-Levitt will play the same character, in those different time frames. That ploy is also being used in Men in Black 3, with Josh Brolin playing the younger version of Tommy Lee Jones's Agent Kay. CAA is repping North American rights, and FilmNation Entertainment is repping it. Insiders said it is not being shopped at this fest. But buyers are all over it.

    Synopsis of Movie:
Looper is a time travel movie, set in a near future where time travel doesn’t exist but will be invented in a few decades. It’s pretty dark in tone, much different from Bloom, and involves a group of killers (called Loopers) who work for a crime syndicate in the future. Their bosses send their targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to the Loopers, and their job is to simply shoot them in the head and dispose of the body. So the target vanishes from the future and the Loopers dispose of a corpse that doesn’t technically exist, a very clean system. Complications set in from there.

    Sounds pretty good
