    I don't like that Amy was fine with there being an Angel in her mind and sand coming out of her eyes and not being able to open them or she'll die but she was knee deep in quicksand and was freaking the fuck out

    I thought this episode was fine

    My only problem is that it felt less like a full episode and more like a setup for Part 2 (which looks pretty cool!)

    Although
    they handled that whole "look, it's your future selves way off in the distance" thing pretty off-handedly, didn't they?

    I'm guessing that's going to be important later, either as some key factor in part two of this episode or -

    the Doctor would reassure Amy or Rory at some point with it. "Remember you're both alive and together a decade from now!" But then again, time is in flux and all that, I guess.

    It also makes me wonder why Rory hasn't been confirmed for the next series, but Amy has, though.

    He needed to get those people to do what he said so he had to say some impressive shit to get them to move

    Seriously, the pacing, the characters, the build up, it was all prefect.

    I mean, for once they've built up the supporting characters enough that I actually care and the dilemma that they've all been placed in has such a fantastic balance to it.
