    can't stay mad, though. for the most part, even if they're always incomplete (save Fishman, holy shit Fishman) they're always quite original in their presentation

    I was hoping they would do some of the beginning mage guild quests.

    Especially so they can rob the soul crystal lady blind.

    Rachel's playing a Toreador, I believe.

    I'm converting the second part to FLV, but since I have to leave in about 10 minutes I probably won't get to upload it. Rachel could probably do it when she gets home, though.

    The hater clan. Still probably more fun than a Nosferatu though. At least they're socialites. The Toreadors like VV and such probably get new dialogue, too.

    Agreed, it's a good starter. Aistan did a screenshot LP of a Malkavian run, if you care to see the crazy version.


    Not recommended for a first-timer, since it sheds light on a lot of mysteries.

    I actually did my very first run through as a Malk.

    It sort of works, because if it is your second time playing you begin to quickly see through all the madness your malk spouts. But if it is your first time, you have to try to translate it all as it happens. It made for a very interesting first experience.

    I did too, because I love the clan. I wish I hadn't though. My second was as a Tremere, and it was a lot of fun.

    I will admit that playing as a malk first does kind of ruin the other clans. No one even compares to how much fun they are.

    Does breaking the tradition of siring ever warrant a death penalty? I think the only one that dire is the Masquerade.

    Regarding modern RPGs, you'd probably enjoy Persona 2 if you don't mind a J detour. I enjoy the setting too.

    Mori and I both have SA accounts (although I haven't checked mine in years, dang) and he and I have both read and enjoyed LPs in their LP forum...but we like that it's smaller here (and also less likely that a LP of a game has already been done!)

    I'm going to 100% Bloodlines for sure! It's not too long and it has a rather linear story, so it'd be a real shame to not complete it.

    Whelp, I've decided.

    I am going to make a new character rather than continue my old Let's Play. And I'm gonna use Andyfall, because I spent like ten hours over three days fiddling with DOSBox to make it to work a good while back.

    This means we get cooler helmets and stuff. And mounted guards. And cool looking shields and shit. Since I'm doing a SS LP, this gives me a larger avenue for reader participation. So without further ado...

    Let's Pick Some Shit For Let's Play Daggerfall

    So I needs me a Race.

    Races, in alphabetical order. Pretty much cosmetic, unless *noted* otherwise, due to buginess.

    Argonians: Lizardpeople. *Maybe tire less when swimming, that remains up in the air.*
    Bretons: Anglo-Saxon people.
    Dark Elf: Black skinned, red haired elves.
    High Elf: Kinda golden skinned elves. *Immune to Paralysis* (I will love you so so much if you vote this.)
    Khajiit: Catpeople.
    Nord: Scandinavian people. *Resistant to Frost magic*
    Redguard: Dark skinned people.
    Wood Elf: Kinda tanned elves.

    EDIT: Oh, and I'll close the vote at... 8:30 EST so I can get stuff ready for update 1.

    EDIT 2: VOTE IS CLOSED, BABIES.

    I actually don't take Crit Weakness to Paralysis, because fuck Giant Scorpions. They cause paralysis.

    And paralysis=you die.

    I never finished my bloodlines character!

    I got up to the bit where you had to break into a mansion or something (not the haunted one, you start outside in a kind of a canyon type area?) and I just got the crap shot out of me every time and I haven't really touched it since.

    I had no problem with that mansion. By that point in the game you are generally coming into power as an unstoppable horror of the night. Especially towards humans.

    If you're really patient you can sneak your way a lot through the Society of Leopold mission.

    At least...I was able to do so the first time. The second time there were a couple of people I simply couldn't sneak up on.
