Hi-res option on PA strips?

In the second news post posted last Friday, Tycho says, "Of course, virtually every strip can be printed out direct from the high-res file - that option can be found at the bottom of almost every strip."

I do not see this option. Where is it?

My guess is he meant the "buy this as a print" link which allows them to print it off by using their high-res source.

There used to be a hi-res option at the bottom of the comic, but there hasn't been that option since a least two versions of the main page ago (as in, back in 2005).

Yeah, they used to have the default be a low res version, way back when, that you could then click a link on to get the high res version. It no longer exists since they have enough bandwidth, and the audience tends to have good enough connections that simply putting up the high-res version is fine.

The super high res ones before they're shrunk down for the site are at PA HQ. Your option is to either buy a print from http://www.pennyarcademerch.com or ask Gabe nicely (gabe@penny-arcade.com) if he'd provide it. If you want it to print out, though, I imagine he'd just tell you to buy the thing from the site.

They're really decent quality prints, incidentally. I have one on my wall.
