So, I'm trying to setup my Sorceress (meteorb) so she can kill stuff like Andariel to start collecting gear, but since she's geared like shit she can't start collecting gear... catch-22. So I'm basically wondering what mid-tier gear I can get that will help me start collecting higher-tier gear, and how do I collect that. Here's what I have so far:
Occy
pdiamond SS
shako
+2 cold/10% fcr/60 life ammy
magefist
10% fcr/86 mana ring
stealth field plate (lol)
rite of passage
Hilarious, I know. Level 78, stats are 156 str/260 vit. My damage is fine (2700-3000 fireball, 6500-6800 meteor) but it basically feels like I die instantly to just about anything.
Also, which act 2 hireling do sorcs use? I have insight/shaftstop/vamp gaze for him.
You're using Storm Shield, so go for max block. Otherwise go for Spirit.
Um the Shako if you need resists. Shael it otherwise. You need more hit recovery.
Change the armor - 2os elite armors shouldn't be hard to find.

You play too many pallies. For a sorc 105fcr is the breakpoint for tele and 63 also works.

Shoot I was looking for the Gold and never found it. Let me check again.
Edit: can you show me the gold script and i'll just toss it into another nip file.
I should add that I'm using ntbs using ntbot scripts. That said, I'm pretty sure I just need to figure out the script to pick up gold and I'm off and running.
I'm adding a line:

It looks like you're using D2BS, but in D2NT, the gold pickit is in the "normal" file in each pickit category (normal/advance/extreme). Scroll to the very bottom, it's right above the essences.
Woke up to my bot spamming hammers on an empty diablo star. (didn't hit all the seals lol) I've noticed several things that cause the bot to fail like that. A very frequent one is the thing where on your screen you're one place but you're actually stuck on the environment somewhere else. T.T
Also, I better get an uber-ready char soon, or I'm going to have to make a second char to hold my keys. lol
I woke up to my bot trying to pick up a Gheeds. Oops! Anyway I've figured out the cash problem. It picks up more junk to sell now. The reason it was running out of cash was that the merc was dying a lot. Got that worked out as well to some extent.

In other news the bot seems ok. Got a non-ethereal reapers and a shaftstop and the merc is surviving better although killing countess can be a bitch (since it's all him). I need to find bot prozac though because sometimes the poor thing just stares at the wall for ages until the merc is dead and she chickens. After mainlining all her rejuves.

I need to find bot prozac though because sometimes the poor thing just stares at the wall for ages until the merc is dead and she chickens. After mainlining all her rejuves.
Yeah I'm mostly doing it out of curiosity. I'm way way faster than the bot. I think things are different with a hammerdin though. I'm running countess, pits, summoner, meph and pindle and I average about 6 minutes with the (meteorb) bot.

I can probably head the grush after my shower IF someone gives me a cool assassin name (have javazon, blizz sorc, smiter atm). Will probably be a trapper. Or if you come up with a better name for my 4th sorc, so be it. You have until I get back from my shower.
Also, don't forget, Ironman tourny tonight, right now it's at 10 pm. If some other time works significantly better we can change it then. There will still be prizes.

Why are you running out of gold now? It's a good idea to watch the bot for a couple of runs to see what it's doing (it does a lot of dumb stuff).
Picking gold isn't a waste when the people you hork drop close to 90k
