Cookies timing out

So I posted this in Tubes problems forum but was told it wasn't a site issue so I thought I might more expert help here. Basically on a few sites, only a few, but primarily here, I keep getting logged out. On one site I can be logged out just between page clicks.

Here its pretty bad, as far as I can tell I'm logged out if I turn the PC off, close IE, the PC goes to standby or if Im just away or inactive on the forum for a short period of time that can range from a minute to 30 or more. Then other times I can turn the PC off, leave it overnight, come back and Im still logged in. Its so random, I can't find a common cause.

I have Kaspersky 2010 anti-virus but I can't see a particular setting that would cause this issue. Any advice experts?
I keep getting logged out after a very short time of inactivity, usually about 10 minutes or less but its random. If I close IE I'll definitely be logged out and if I turn off the PC and yet sometimes I can turn the PC off, start it up later, open IE and I'll still be logged in perfectly fine.

This is with clicking 'Remember Me' every time.

I ignored it when I was jailed because I thought it was part of the system but its continued on ever since for a few months now.

TLDR; PA Forum refuses to remember me even when I ask it nicely so my cookies are timing out for some reason.

Doesn't happen anywhere else but here

I've done this.

Clear out your cookies, history, saved form data and reset your security settings. Basically, start out from scratch.

Also be sure that any anti-virus or anti-adware software is not just clearing your cookies on you.

Most of them treat any cookies you have as 'spyware' and will automatically clear them

It started about January so I put it down to a new thing that came with being Jailed but its not stopped since.

Is this only occurring on Internet Explorer? Have you tried an alternate browser?

Yes it does seem to be IE, at least I just opened Firefox and was logged in here.

The other site its happening on also seems to work fine in Firefox so it must be some setting in IE but I cannot see what it could be, I certainly hadn't changed anything to cause it.

Do you switch often between web browsers? I've seen FireFox and IE clobber eachother's cookies if you go to the same site in each.
