Has anyone here ever heard of W. Warren Wagar? He's a professor of history at SUNY Binghampton but his major influence is H.G Wells. He writes about conceptions of the future and the City of Man--of world order.
He wrote this quote, too, which brought a smile to my face--
The academic historian, who angers the political activist just because he is professionally incapable of anger, rebels against the notion of enemies.
However, reading his works there's a little bit of insane there hiding under the usual academic dryness of a college professor. So I'm wondering if any of you guys know about him. He seems like he's right up D+D's alley, but since I can't find a fucking thing on him that fleck of crazy is worrying me.
