This is a cool game but I did not like alot of the new maps. Vaccine got a little boring but I still prefer it over some of the newer ones, and especially over some of the custom ones.

Okay, I'm an idiot. I want to tool around on this just to look at things and get a peek at the interface and whatnot, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to password-lock a server I create to do so. What am I missing here?

Anyone who bitches about the Rocket Launcher in this game deserves to have their dick nailed to an angry bear.
I am SO in when this is released. It will pull me away from Burning Crusade, i love Dystopia. I can't be bothered to get paypal otherwise i'd be playing it right now :P
Oh and i'm reading Snow Crash right now, awesome cyberpunk book

Fairly off-topic, I know...but I need good cyber-punk books.
Who wrote that?
And can you recommend me any other good cyber-punk authors/titles?

Neal Stephenson. Not sure which of his other stuff is cyberpunk, but this one is awesome and i'll probably be hunting down some other books of his when i'm done.
William Gibson is seen as one of the definitive cyberpunk authors, I've only read Neuromancer by him, which is an awesome book, and part of a trilogy, with the sequels being Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive.
Other than that, i have not read anything. Honestly, Dystopia is what go me interested and made me go out and read Neuromancer, so i'm not too versed in the genre. Although, i hear Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? (the book Bladerunner is based on) is great, since books are almost always better than movies, and thats a kickass movie, it must be good, right?

Sometimes They Come Back is a movie based off a short story.
WHat the movie has is an awesome scened where undead assholes kidnap some dude in their car and then there's a scene where they piece by piece throw his limbs and body out the window.

On the cyberpunk book front, Neal Stephenson has also written Diamond Age, which isn't so much cyberpunk as nanopunk (all about nanotech), as well as Cryptonomicon, which is all about modern and WWII cryptography.
I heartily recommend Gibson, especially the entire Neuromancer trilogy (Neuromancer, Count Zero, Mona Lisa Overdrive) and the Idoru trilogy (Virtual Light, Idoru, All Tomorrow's Parties). Neuromancer has a more 1980's version of cyberpunk, while the Idoru trilogy updates it quite a bit, so take that as you will.
Greg Bear's stuff also seems good, though I've only read one book, Slant (another nanotech oriented book).
Though it's not cyberpunk, I also recommend The Difference Engine by Gibson and Bruce Sterling. It's the story of what would have happened to our history had Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine, a mechanical device that would have been the world's first general purpose computer had Babbage had more/smarter investors, actually been perfected and put into general use. The end result? We get the Information Age at the same time as the Industrial Revolution. It's arguably the ultimate steampunk book.
I got a bit burned out a while back, but I still have lots of for Dystopia. I preferred to be either a light or medium with a medkit and hiding behind a heavy and keeping him up.

I think I could get my hacking on tonight. Anyone up for a game?
Dys Tx or something like that is probably the best server around with most active players.
