Nah, it will just make it harder to tell the difference. A wall hacker could have all the advantages of the implant without having it. Plus, aimbotting would be deadly with the ridiculous damage of the laser rifle headshot.
ehh... I figured that people would decide not to go through the trouble since it is in the game.
but more importantly people can compete with hacking players. Thats good.
It's not a perfect see everything everywhere wallhack. All it does is put up little triangle-y thingies wherever there's a noise, be it footstep or gunshot. You can figure out where they are from it easily if you know the area, but if there's alot of shooting going on it becomes more difficult.
Also it's not nearly as effective at infrared when actually in a firefight with stealthers.
But if you use it with tac scanner you can see everything.

The only thing not working at all with the stats is time. So don't pay attention to it. For example, it says I've played an hour, while I remember playing at least 5.
So one of the guys from my 'clan'*, ssu.syke is in the top 20. The stat page says he is 17 but in game he is 15 and he has the Ion Cannon and Spider Mine awards.
If you guys see any ssu. players, look for BloodyHand. Thats me.
*Not really a clan but we all play from the same room. All it is is out college abbreviation.
Don't worry guys, as soon as I get my new computer built, I can play with you. I'd play now, but mine is unstable as hell and crashes whenever I play any game.
Also, I haven't really sat down to play since 1.0 was released. Is it changed much?
If I was only allowed one multiplayer game to play for the rest of my life (that was constantly updated of course) this would be it. I only wish it had a bigger user base.
More people should play Dystopia (or start using [PA] so I can find you on gamestats). Has anyone mentioned the help bubbles yet?

Okay, I'm bumping this old thread because I'm back at my parent's house and can play this thing. And it is awesome. It should be more popular, and get a commercial release.

I agree though this is one of the greatest hl2 mods that few people play.
It's a quality mod but IMHO the game doesn't have much lasting appeal. I don't know why, it just never held my interest for longer than a couple days at best.

I just scored 62 points pubbing on assembly by capping all 3 objectives.
Didn't hurt the other team was full of CSS rejects. Still had 10 minutes to spare, too.
