Is Day9 commentating? I watched the first game on one of the other stream and now all I see on his channel is a buncha nerds.
Lee Jaedong , I don't really understand SC1 so well but what happened? It looked like flash just straight up outplayed him. What was up with the double defiler dens?
Man that was absolutely brutal. The MSL gathering with Diggity and Day9 was pretty damn fun though, absolutely massive enthusiastic crowd of around 125ish near the end of the night, probably peaked around 150-175 at 11-12.

Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if Labor had not first existed. Labor is superior to capital, and deserves much the higher consideration. - Lincoln
wow did 49% of the people really vote no? Have they even played this game? It's such a fun and awesome game. Sure it isn't perfectly balanced yet and its missing some features that would be nice. But I mean seriously its a fun game. What more can you ask for?

Of the 49%, 95% are just nerds who want to moan about problems. We all know their parents are going to buy them their copy.

If I could cancel my pre-order, I would. Not having LAN is pretty huge for my friends and I. We play SC1 LAN as much as I play on b.net, if not more. Needing to buy a router and wireless cards and shit to "authenticate" to b.net before getting to use the LAN is pretty lame.
And yeah, there are multiple ways to chat outside of b.net, but the fluidity of having it inside the game can't be beat. Needing to download Steam or AIM and constantly tab out to coordinate is annoying. Needing to do it for one of the PA tournaments a few weeks ago turned me off enough to not participate in another one for no reason other than how many places I had to look to find out who was my next opponent because we all couldn't sit in the same channel on SC2. Blizzard instantly offers facebook integration but doesn't want to hear from the players about chat channels? Silly.

I think you are in the group that can't really complain that much about no LAN. For a LAN you already have everything you need to set up an internet connection, just get the router connected and everyone can connect to bnet.
What I don't understand is how large scale tournaments are going to work, that will require some extensive planning.
It seems that a good computer is better than an internet connection. If your video card blows balls, 2v2 or greater becomes a slideshow that lags everyone else out.

I can totally complain. Hooking up our desktops with LAN in my basement on a Friday night is our usual thing. We don't have everything we need. We'd all have to go buy wireless adapters and a wireless router or something. Pretty fucking stupid to need to spend $200 to use the "LAN".
