Most of the nice action figures are way too expensive for my tastes, when you add in the shipping and handling. I do have some of the smaller toys, though.
Also, episode 36 is great. This season really has very few bad episodes.

I dunno if I'd say Kamen Rider Double has any actual bad episodes. Maybe one or two silly stories like the one set around 'Fuuuuuutic Idol' and the SPIK-singer.
Just the parts when the doll was squeaking and hopping around somehow beating up both of the main heroes. Those sound effects and special effects were (horrible) great.
...other parts were very depressing. Although this is the same show where people routinely die on camera, including being straight-out shot with a regular gun, not a laser or anything. And it's a Sunday morning kids' show!
You're forgetting the fact that Japanese children grow up to be Japanese adults and Japanese adults come up with some of the world's most-screwey things.
Like corn and squid-ink pizza with hot dogs in the crust.
But I'm not buying the Megazord even though I want it, and it's just $25. I have the money to spend, it just feels like too much to pay for what I'm getting.
One of my friends that has a room full of $100+ statues would disagree with me, obviously.
Ha, was watching the CSToys packing show and he showed up, and everyone was so excited. I would have had no clue what you were talking about if it wasn't for that.
To explain what I'm talking about to anyone who doesn't know, there's a company in Japan that sells sentai/Rider toys. They video themselves packaging the toys for you, and demoing products. They have multiple, five hour long shows every week. They even upload clips to YouTube.
The only stuff in this genre I know is Power Rangers, Big Bad Beetleborgs (which I guess was a comedy spin off of something?) VR Troopers, Superhuman Samurai Cyber Squad, and that one with the martian kid that I think had a power rangers crossover once.

That last one you mentioned is Masked Rider, the first try at bringing Kamen Rider to America. They used footage from Kamen Rider Black RX, the last regular KR-series made before giving the franchise a general rest for about eleven years (with the odd stage show and movie during the 90s keeping an interest going during it). Interestingly enough, it took eleven years for someone to try another American version of Kamen Rider.
That's just the fight from the first episode. The second episode, which continues the first's story...
...has Double fighting a Dopant based around a T-Rex. At first it appears as if they ran out of money with the costume budget seeing as it looks like a guy in leather wearing a giant T-Rex rubber head.
Oh, I found an actual trailer for the second American adaptation of a Kamen Rider series. The people behind Kamen Rider in Japan, Toei, liked it enough to actually bring it over and redub it for Japanese viewers. They even got the actor who played one of the more important KRs on the original Japanese version of the show to voice his American counterpart's part.
This combined with Nick buying the rights to Kamen Rider gives me hope that we might see dubbed Kabuto on TV over here. Or at least a Dragon Knight/Power Rangers version of it, since Kabuto was the next show they had in mind to localize. It's also a really good season, I watched it after getting started with Decade.
Edit : The FX in Double are pretty consistent. Every once in a while you get some hilariously bad CG, or a badly filmed explosion (Episode 36 had a really sad looking one), but it's overall pretty good. Especially Double's transformations.

Huh, I didn't hear about Nickelodeon buying the KR airing rights. Kabuto's the KR-series where the enemies are these Body Snatcher aliens called Worms and the main KR in the series can use a bullet-time effect called Clock Up, right?
Also likely the most unique Rider Kicks. The main character uses that spinning kick as seen in the video, and the other main Rider uses Muay Thai, with a hopping kick.
I remembered incorrectly there. Nick is going to air the new Power Rangers, and Cartoon Network is who has the rights to Kamen Rider now, apparently.
Hmmm, that's pretty much what I saw of Kabuto in Decade. I think Decade's version of Kabuto was stuck in Clock Up due to a malfunction which was an interesting twist as it meant he spent most of the story just running around quickly punching or kicking Worms to death in super-speed and then vanishing.
You know, I think making an American version of Decade wouldn't be a bad idea. Not so much used as a trip down memory lane but rather to introduce different Kamen Rider series and let the one that gets the most interest be the next series brought to us.
The bit where he throws his other half out of the car and off that raised road seemed pretty silly. Does the guy with the hair clip become invulnerable while he is passed out or something?
I know the dude on the right is the guy who plays Wataru AKA Kamen Rider Kiva, but I'm blanking out on who's the guy on the left.
EDIT: Heh, this is certainly one way to defeat a giant monster. This takes place in the reality hopping KR-Decade series, where Decade's visiting the reality based on Kamen Rider Hibiki. KR-Hibiki basically merges the KR concept with Oni (what the Riders are referred to) and music (having to defeat the show's monsters with 'pure sound'). Once Decade unlocks the Hibiki-related cards he owns, he soon gets into the same rhythm-based beatdown method the Riders in this reality use. The cuts to kanji BTW are a nod to KR-Hibiki using the same thing in-series.
Hey, as long as you don't start bugging forumers here by posting pictures of yourself humping body-sized pillows with Kamen Rider portraits on them, I don't really mind. To each their own.
Yeah, that was a nice use of bullet-time CGI right there. I wouldn't be surprised though if some fans were hoping that it would have been Faiz against Kabuto rather then The Bee.
On a related topic, I'm just about to watch the Decade episodes involving the Samurai Sentai Shinkenger and I heard one of the Shinkenger episodes actually ties into this. Anyone here heard anything when it comes to a proper viewing order or should I just watch the Decade episodes and forget watching the Shinkenger tie-in?

You will regret asking this question because now I feel obligated to actually research them.
What spring does with the cherry trees.
I loved the Puppeteer arc, even. Watching it with a friend and laughing so hard we were crying probably helped, though.
What, the whole story or just the parts with Chucky's Japanese cousin?

Or Kiss Players.
No more than $40 a pop shipped, depending on where you get them from, you can get SH Figuarts at around $30, even.

It's almost hypnotizing to watch, actually.

Kamen Rider Kabuto has an English dub. In the Phillipines, I think. Hard to find a video of it, this is about the best I could do.

They're pretty decent as far as a KR-series goes. I never really had a 'I can see the string' moment with it yet.

Yep, that's Philip. They do have an actual girl at the detective agency with them though; Akiko Narumi, the daughter of Shotaro's old boss.

Kabuto wasn't very cool in Decade, he's much better in his own series. However, the fight between Decade/Faiz Accel and The Bee was pretty awesome.

Final Attack Ride Hibiki is probably my favorite, though. That song's so catchy.
Like, I can't tell if they're playing for the gay crowd or it's just Japan being Japan.
