edit: Or to more accurately reflect the movie, if a crazy fan reads a storyboard depicting Tali's death.
Quite frankly, if I found an unavoidable death for Tali was in the works, I'd break the feet of everyone at Bioware. Even the fucking janitor. Then I'd make him clean up the resulting blood.
I like Tali just as much as the next guy, but....
If ME3 actually manages to have galaxy-wide planetary invasions somehow (they do need some sort of humanoid enemy for us to spend most of the game shooting), it could actually be interesting to play a MP FPS acting out those battles. Who wouldn't want to put together a team of Salarians and hold. The. Line. ?
i dunno. you change too much and you'll end up with brutal legend syndrome: YOU GOT X IN MY WRRYYYYYYYY
plus, multi definitely just changes so much about the tone of a franchise. it's not like the trashtalking is going to be in-character, either. i'll call that guy who just shot me a cloaca, yes
but he'll reply with some slur-laden smear that will just totally turn me off from geth in general
and i like legion
TL;DR once you have multi you have the introduction of griefing and teabaggery, two things which ruin the flavor of a serious singleplayer game
Uggh, god. If they do release a multi-player Mass Effect game it will force me to buy it for the PC (and actually get a gaming PC). Xbox live is pretty much the worst gaming community ever to have existed. I am really, really hoping ME3 stays single player only. I'm just having visions of a Quarian/Geth death match where everyone is teabagging each other.
Until I heard people mentioning him showing up in ME2, I hadn't even known it was possible for Fist to survive.
Also, I would literally kill a man for an awesome Normandy model. Maybe not quite as large as that one (scale shot in spoiler), but...man. Pretty sweet Citadel, too. Every time I see the channel of its arms leading to that ring, I wonder if we're going to jump through it at some point.
also this really big focus on Taetrus makes me think we'll see a little of that in dlc
I haven't been reading Cerberus news in awhile, so I looked that up. I like the one about the Galaxy of Fantasy players rallying to support them. Didn't realize Turians were so strict though: it's a crime to photograph their dead?

Wait...Fist can appear in ME2? Ha...maybe I should let him live on time then.
awesome is Miranda shooting the armed man in front of you while you drop an exploding tank on his buddies who are also shooting at you causing a salarian to piss his pants
awesome is lighting a krogan on fire when he threatens to eat salarian eggs and burn the citadel
awesome is forcing Zaeed to listen to you by punching his face in a burning factory
awesome is casually taking down an asari merc when she has the audacity to pull out her gun
shooting an unarmed man laying on the floor is not awesome

It was his job. Didn't matter if it was awesome, honorable, or smart. He was paid to do it and, as he says, he doesn't leave things half done.

It's awesome that Shepard gets interrupted.
No one else does that. No one.
Not The Illusive Man, not the Reapers, not the Collectors, not even those dirty stinking batarians.

Not to mention it was a job set by the Shadow Broker which from all indications, is someone you should try and stay on the good side of.

Wrex wins.
You forgot Ashley, one of the greatest characters in the franchise. And she doesn't shoot an unarmed man, she takes down a big ol' krogan that's threatening her commander.
If Wrex wanted to get the job done, he should have helped me with Fist's turrets. But he was too busy being dead. He only kills when it's easy.

To the Keystone Kops. I bet the hold music for Cerberus is Yakety Sax.
He may mean well, but damn if he doesn't manage to fuck everything up
(in comparison to the Council and Alliance)
Well, pretty much every evil thing under the name of Cerberus was probably executed by him, right?
I'm not rooting for either side, I'm just saying:
Can we please stop debating TIM's efficacy?
What if yalborap was the next guy?
also this really big focus on Taetrus makes me think we'll see a little of that in dlc
I think everyone is a Reaper agent. The fuck is Tali doing near my engine? And I don't trust Garrus dickin' around with my weapons.
And Miranda...always...reporting things...
The walls are closing in, I think we've been compromised.
Joker is the only person I can trust...because he can't run away.
Probably the same thing that happens if you kill him. SOme other Urdnot runs the clan, but also probably means in ME1 that Fist lives.
If you didn't shoot Fist yourself, you were doing it wrong. That guy had to die.
Didn't wanna waste the bullet. I recruited Wrex, I mean, he TOLD me he was gonna kill Fist. Wasn't really surprised.

And a Normandy deuce to dock with it:
I wish games would get Lego endorsements these days.

i wasn't about to stop him
also that citadel is very awesome

yeah, shoot him after he's down and has three guns on him
must be well rested after that nap you took fighting the turrets
YOU SHUT YOUR FACE.
Wrex is awesome.
He Renegade Interrupts Shepard to kill Fist, ergo awesome.

And then witness Shepard's glory.

I don't think that's going to be true in a few months.

well, I actually called her over but she can interrupt as another scenario
Target in sights? Check.
Heat level low? Check.
<BOOM>
Doesn't even matter if it hits their leg, they're *dead*.
EDIT: And they're on the other side of the room.
That's probably because there were no targeted hitboxes in ME1. :P
shooting a dude and watching him fly offscreen for a number of seconds
and then getting up barely harmed
