Jack needs some hair. And to show some respect. I'm the goddamn Shepard, and you don't fuck with Shepard.
You know, it kind of pisses me off that a lot of characters in ME2 think they can take you. Samara's like, "I'll have to kill you if you do bad stuff in this mission." Jack is like, "Don't fuck with me or I'll kill you." Zaeed is like, "Don't stop me from taking down Vido or I'll kill you." (though, to be fair, you can say to Zaeed "Who do you think you're dealing with?) And of course all the 'bad guys' who try to take you down.
There should be more people who say, "No fucking way am I going to fight Shepard." I want more people to bow down to Shepard's obvious superiority.
isn't that basically the point of the intimidate options
"fuck, I ain't gettin' paid enough for this"
Hah, you know, I've never actually taken the Renegade choices, so I guess I've just been missing out.
I think it would be pretty cool, really late in the game, if every 1 in 20 mercs that you came across just straight up ran away screaming. Like, actually make your badass-itude have a (minor) effect on the gameplay. Then again, I'd love that for just about every game where you ultimately become an invincible supergod.
The renegade interrupts are the best part of the game.
The running away from shep's awesomeness should really only work for renegade shepard. It would be a bit boring for the game though. Oh, I guess I didn't need my Quadbuster 4000 to taked down these mercs because they all ran away.

I never noticed this until my third playthrough, but when you wake up grunt there's a renegade interrupt where you actually do shoot him repeatedly in the face until he backs down.

I'm massively with you on this. The Paragon response for such a threat should just be Shepherd raising an eyebrow disbelievingly. The Renegade one is the cracking of knuckles. Or kneecapping. I mean, there's always room for more kneecapping.

I wouldn't want them all to run away. Just have one guy every few missions who freaks out a little and tries to run. Then you could let him go/leave him alone or shoot him in the face.

The paragon response whould be shepard tickling the mouthy NPC stating "There don't you feel silly now?"

I tried that during my Insanity run. I was like, "I wonder what would happen if I didn't use the colored text options to talk him down?"

EDIT: and another thing: for two bitches who supposedly hate each other, Miranda and Jack are an absolute killer combo as a team. Very, very complementary, particularly on collector heavy missions. It's a shame in a way that character interaction cannot be developed through combat experience.
I've gotta say, I would be fascinated if a game added something like this. 2 characters spend a lot of time around each other? They develop a relationship. Maybe you bring Zaeed and Jacob on a few missions, then see them chatting in the mess in between at some point. Maybe a long-standing Miranda/Jack combo nets them a begrudging respect that entirely prevents the catfight. Maybe femshep flirts with both Garrus and Jacob, brings them both on a mission, and they duke it out after some 'accidental' friendly fire, necessitating Shepard intervention.
Lots of content that'd never be seen, etc. etc. but still, the possibilities are fun to consider.

Fire Emblem. Not considerable depth to it, since there's so many characters and the pairings only have three or four levels, but the idea has been done.
It'd be excellent to see squad relations in games with more involved stories like ME, though. One of the nascent gems of KoTOR II.
Okay quick question.
I just finished doing the collector ship mission.
Now then, can I go back to doing side assignments without being interrupted by TIM?

I still haven't played the Kasumi DLC. I should get on that. I also was thinking that if you put pigtails and a miniskirt on Jack she could be a Suicide Girl.

i would thoroughly enjoy a jack with hair. maybe enough for bad fanfiction.

I hate to admit it, but yea, I'd dig Jack with hair more than Miranda Lawson's elegant buttocks.

I kinda dig shaved chicks, but I would also enjoy seeing what Jack would look like with hair in ME3.
That would cover up some of her tattoos and that is COMPLETELY unacceptable.
Plus I'm not really seeing a reason why she'd stick around for ME3. I guess it's time for the Mass Effect thread to start talking about who's going to make the cut for ME3?

still
they are awesome
They mean the same thing, in most languages.

Shepard won't tolerate your weak shit.

I was so glad I did that interrupt.
You cannot run from me, fool.
Woah, really? Does anyone have a clip of this?
How's that?
Screaming scotsman? Or maybe a critical shot if timed just so.

Paragon Romancing Jack should turn her into

Apologies if this has been noted before.

Zaeed in the mess, lovingly stroking Jessie, as he eats mashed potatoes
Reminiscently mumbling about their past adventures
his death grunt sounded like a roar
Garrus's left eye twitches furiously.
no, Garrus's mandible twitches. Like Nih's in ME1
ME3 Garrus needs a robo mandible. When asked about it, he notes that he did it exacty to look more awesome.

yep
also this is a funny picture of Jack
also also, Overlord!

Bastards. It's still not showing up on Bioware's social site yet.
