Complete Volumes get italics, collected pieces get quotes. Books, feature-length films, epic poems, etc, get italics. Poems, Essays, and others get quotes.

Ted's a far more entertaining character than Marshall. Neither of them are a patch on Barney though.

Ted grates on me far too much with his non stop whining.
Marshall has more of a idealist thing going on that i find somewhat endearing.

But Barney is pretty much the best thing about the show.

So my iPod that I thought my ex had taken. I just found it in the bottom of my gym bag. I never took it to the gym, so I have no idea how it got in there. She might have put it there for me, but of all places she could have left it the bottom of a bag is the one that makes the least amount of sense.

Ahaha, okay, after this quote I want to read the book for entirely different reasons:
"Most people think Mark Twain was a sort of genteel Victorian. Well, in this document he calls her a slut and says she tried to seduce him. It's completely at odds with the impression most people have of him," says the historian Laura Trombley, who this year published a book about Lyon called Mark Twain's Other Woman.

"There is a perception that Twain spent his final years basking in the adoration of fans. The autobiography will perhaps show that it wasn't such a happy time. He spent six months of the last year of his life writing a manuscript full of vitriol, saying things that he'd never said about anyone in print before. It really is 400 pages of bile."

Maybe this won't be as cool as I originally thought...in the way I had originally thought it'd be.

According to Richy's spoilers 'magically explained' is how a lot of it turns out.

I don't watch Lost myself and have spoiled the show for myself out of curiosity, but I'd be pretty miffed if I did watch it and was inadvertently spoiled in [chat].

You basically said 'Nothing (and detailed which things) gets resolved and the ending was unsatisfying'.

    That's a spoiler!

First of all, I didn't say it was unresolved, I said it was irrelevant. Lost fans certainly take the view that all these matters are resolved. And in fact, a lot of them are resolved, just in a way that makes them irrelevant. I'm not spoiling you how they are resolved.

Second, "the ending was unsatisfying" isn't a spoiler, it's an opinion. It doesn't tell you anything about what actually happens. If it makes you feel any better, a lot of people found the ending quite satisfying. So you're back at square one on that one, I guess.
