in my defence, I never saw the series until last year, and have yet to get around to seeing the movie. just wasn't high on my list of thing to nerd out over.

The thing about the trolls with me is that I don't really know how much we're supposed to trust what they say, though I struggle to think of any instances where they've actively lied to or tricked the kids other than when they got John killed.*
All we currently know is that some action the in the kids' game session may have some effect on what happens in the trolls' game session. The trolls say this screws over both groups, but how?
I guess what I'm saying is that I generally take a lot of what the trolls say with a grain of salt.
*: Also John getting killed showed us an alternate reality of what happens in the game without John and Jade in the medium, as Dave says how they can't win without them. So we know they're necessary for winning.
Two things come to mind that I'm curious about and am sure are bubbling at the back of AH's skull
GC says that she plans to stay pissed at them forever while appearing helpful. That she will be helpful is
an immutable fact that she is stating for the record.
secondly: Dave and Rose are never able to contact the trolls again after GC indirectly offs John.
Your first statement seems a little contradictory? "While appearing helpful" implies a certain amount of insincerity in my mind.
The second statement is something I forgot about. Makes me wonder why John dying would also affect the trolls, unless that happening broke a time loop or some such.
sometimes I feel kind of dumb because the clone stuff was confusing at first and then y'all come in here all like "guys! I think the trolls are 12 kids in a different session!" and I feel better

I'm going to demand that my autobiography not be published until at least a century after my death, guaranteeing that at most 1 person will read it
We should all write autobiographies right now and leave them to our ancestors to publish a century from now. They will be read because people love reading honest accounts of how people in the past lived.
