Ok, so previous to my current apartment I had FioS, which does not require a land line.
I have AT&T DSL now, which required me to register a phone number to connect it. Fine, I understand that. What I don't understand is why I'm now showing up on White Pages.
What can I do to block this information from appearing? Consumerist had a guide about it a while back but I don't recall land lines being mentioned.

I specifically asked for it when I signed up and they said it "wasn't available"
Pah, you know what? I just got home from work and discovered that we're changing to Time Warner throughout our complex... so nevermind. TWC won't require a phone line to provide shitty service!
