One of my favourite Lost moments is the first time we see the button not being pushed.
I thought it was incredibly creepy, seeing the timer flip around to show red and black hieroglyphics.
Also, back in season 1 when Charlie almost died and Jack brought him back. That was the first time I realised how emotionally invested I was in the show. It was the first time my heart was wrenched by it. And I was incredibly relieved when he made it.
And my last favourite moment is Desmond speaking to Penny from the boat.

My favorite episode will always be the one centered around Mr. Eko's past. I can actually safely say that now with the show over.
This show has a thousand great moments to choose from. It is hard to pick a favorite. Charlies death still makes me want to beat a wall with my fists while screaming "WHY!!!!" but... that might just be me.
I loved so many moments from this show. I actually really loved season two's hatch moments, from the first steps in, to the blast doors coming down showing a secret map, to Locke standing over the smashed computer, looking at Eko saying "I was wrong". Good times. Penny and Desmond were always good together. The Constant. "We have to go back". So hard to choose from all these episodes, I feel lucky that I've been watching this show from the start and following it along with everyone else.

Lockdown was the best episode. I really need my Dharma spin-off/comic to shed some more light on what the deal was with the Swan.

I would love to see how Hugo and Ben ran the island.
I'm not sure I would want it to be made or anything. Probably best left to the imagination. But the Hugo/Ben pairing is not one I had considered before. It's kind of sweet.
Who knows how long they were there for, and who knows what kind of Hyjinks they got up to.
I could see a few one-shot comics dealing with issues like that, one about Dharma in the 80s, one about Hurley and Ben running the island, maybe one with Desmond getting reunited with Penny again. That's one thing that bugged me about the finale - Ben says that people can't leave the island, but he did it himself. So did Richard and Tom Friendly. Plus there's a big boat moored up there that they can use to sail home. Shouldn't be that hard to get Desmond back to his wife and son.
The majority of my favourite moments involve desmond. There's not a single moment with him in that I didn't enjoy.
Apart from that those, things like michael and walt on the computer and "we have to go back" were also rad. There's also a scene from season 2 where Ben is claiming to be Henry Gale and Sayid comes in to interogate him. Afterwards Sayid walks out and says something like "He's lying", it was awesome. Stone cold Sayid at his best.

The name of the place is the Island
A slim Hugo now battles to defend the Island against the onslaught of Craxian invaders from the distant planet of Exelon12. With his trusty sidekick Ben's brain in a bi-pedal jar, they dodge laser blasts and EMP bursts whilst taking down the Craxian army using cunning guerilla tactics.
Hugo takes inspiration for all of his guerilla techniques from Return of the Jedi.
I would like to see what happened with desmond after the end, but we already had his and pennys big emotional reunion back in season 4, so it would just be echoing off that, and making it less emotionally powerful.

I imagine he sailed his boat back home.
My Constant t-shirt arrived today, and it's wonderful. Everyone that didn't buy one has made the biggest mistake of their lives.
Walkabout is my favorite episode from season 1. We had come to know Locke as this badass knife wielding evil genius. To find out that he worked for a box company and had this mundane life was jarring, then seeing the wheelchair was a great "Oh shit!" moment.
Walkabout was so great and I remember going into work to talk to everyone about what Locke's secret past was, if he was a Secret Service agent who had been shot or something.
Also, all the stuff about the smoke monster blowing up the engine turbine in the pilot.
Call me a baby, but I get teary eyed every time they play the piano music that accompanies a sad moment. The final episode was good and Desmond is definitely my favorite character.
I can't believe that everyone was dead for the entire series. ARGH!
Actually, I can't believe people actually think the above is a valid interpretation of events in the Finale.

so, how did some people jump to the conclusion that everyone was already dead, like throughout the entire show? aside from having some sort of learning disability.

Well I just watched this ending and I don't really know how to feel. I don't really know what I was expecting.
It was a pretty great conclusion now that I have had time to process it, but most of all I am just sad it's over.
I am relieved. There were many times that I wanted to stop watching the show. I think I just prefer a good book, video game, or social activity to watching TV, generally. This was really the only show I was dedicated to watching. The fact that it had a quality ending and conclusion feels great. Hell, even Babylon 5, my other favorite show had a less than stellar ending (fucking Excalibur series).

From reading various reactions to the finale, I can only conclude that learning disabilities are rife. There was a guy in my office who saw me reading Lostpedia and was all "so they were dead all along in the end!". No, office retard. No, they were not.

That really made me hate Rose, by the way. She goes with Jack over Locke because "Locke is a murderer" when Jack clearly would have been one too if that gun weren't empty

The amount of stupid people who watched this show really is baffling, isn't it?

I'll also love the hell out of any episodes focused on Hurley; he's just so adorable.

I didn't see a single one of you fuckers predicting that about the alternate timeline
This post was totally predictable.
"You were a great number one, Hugo."
Easily my favorite part of the ep

Yes, yes, yes.

It's valid for the flash-sideways.
I was suprised anyway.
Just go read Yar's posts in the D&D thread.

And everyone watching is just like "holy shit"
