Man. Hell is so accurately named. I'm stuck on the boss.
Make sure that you know that you can jump over his sweeping fists (his first and second attack).
For the headbutt you can stand on the raised edges of the platform.
For the I'M CRAZY AND PUNCH THE PLATFORM move, you can stand almost at the middle of the platform. Then when he punches one side - quickly jump to the edge of the platform and he will stop his attack. Avoid the burning things.
Once you get those moves in order it's basically a little trial and error to see which attack he uses when, they all appear several times but the pattern is always the same.
Or, you can just sit directly in the middle for the entire thing as long as there is no fire block there.
His fast punch part never hits the dead center square.

So I've unlocked all of the warp zone characters. Now I need to collect these bandages.
Oh, and even though I had 100%'ed the game prior, I went back the other day and finished Teh Internets and the two minus worlds I hadn't done yet. So I'm sitting pretty at 105% now.
That level isn't even that hard. It's the one immediately after it that's the real fucker.
They were all hard. And surprisingly, SMB hasn't made me say bad words on too many occasions. But the last kid level was so freaking annoying, I got pretty mad playing that one. It was like, spawn, die, spawn, die.

That level is all about timing, it's really easy to pull off as soon as you figure out when to jump. I beat it in just a few tries compared to the first two.

Go all the way to the right. Climb up and jump over the saw blades as they pass by. Now go all the way to the left, past the starting point.
Edit: Alternately, to get an uber-quick time:
Jump meat boy between the saw blades and head left. Or stop time with Tim, let the saws past, and then head left. etc.
I can't figure out how to get the bandages in one of the warp zones in world 3. This is the one where the background is black and the terrain is blue-red blocks. Both bandages are floating in mid-air higher than meat boy can jump. What's the trick?

Wall jumping gets you higher and farther than regular jumps. You have to wall jump off the very top edges of the platforms to get high enough to get those bandages.

snagged the silver 360 controller with the new d-pad, eager to try SMB and a few other arcade titles with it
i know up until now i've been using the analog stick so here's hoping it's nice.
What part is giving you the most trouble? Is it the tight vertical jump back up? Because the stage is actually pretty easy once you get past that part. You'll still probably die of course, but only a few times.

I don't even think they have a release date for it yet. Probably sometime next year? They ran into some trouble with the WiiWare service. The game went over the limit for the size.

Some of those levels, especially dark world, made my hand hurt for the rest of the day
