Why, you ask?
Because, aside from starting a new short film script with my bestest bro in the world, I auditioned for a role as the villain Bert E. Dastard in the community theatre's annual OLD FASHIONED MELODRAMA!
AND GOT THE FUCKIN ROLE! AW YISS
Finally a situation in which my clownish overacting works to my advantage.
I get to make bad tit-jokes and twiddle a curly mustache and wear a top hat and cape and everything. It's gonna be the tits.
The script isn't great but it has some awesome moments, and is only like 24 pages! Which is weird! These melodramas are usually a helluva lot longer...
But I digress. HOW ARE YOU OTHER PERFORMING-ARTS TYPE FOLKS?
