Maybe he learned how to drive from his Playstation, but what's important here is that he didn't learn to not to break the law from his fucking mom.
The best part of the story is how she told the authorities that if he broke the law again, she didn't want him back.
Because, you know, it's not like you're his mother or anything, right? Like, it's not your fault that this happened, right? I'm sure all the other kids that play video games out there don't steal multiple cars and sneak onto airline flights because, oh, they just don't feel like it today, right?
With a mom like that in Oregon, I'd be running for Texas too.

I mean, hell. I would be angry, as a parent. I mean, furious. But come on, this is awesome. After the kid recuperated from the massive beating, I would step back and then tell every friend I had.
Who gets to say their nine year old was involved in a high speed car chase and conned his way onto an airplane?

Why the flying fuck did the police chase this kid at 90mph? I hate the way the police try to turn every criminal activity into a dangerous one too. I would also say that I wish his mother were right - driving lessons are damned expensive, but I have a copy of GT2 for free.
If you don't chase and stop anyone that runs, then everyone would run.
So what? The police always catch them in the end. They should stop as soon as it's dangerous. But that's for D&D.
God that chocolate milk thing almost gave me an aneurysm. I literally got a headache from that video.
Man, that just proves to me why I don't want kids. After about ten seconds, the Xbox would be chucked into the dumpster and junior would be onto his way to military school.
Evaded two state police forces and made fools of airport security agents.
At 9 Years old.
Hell, playstation isn't to blame. This kid needs to stop watching 24
you got a laugh out of me.

Anyone else mute any Live players that sound like 10 year olds? I do, for no other reason then the fact that the sound of their voice in my ear pierces my very soul.
Am I a bad person?

Also don't forget to taunt them with the fact that you can't hear them. It infuriates them so much more

A 9-year-old boy with a history of stealing cars and running away sneaked onto a plane bound for Texas, getting caught after flubbing an airport connection, officials said........................................
The boy was unhappy after his family moved to Lakewood
Ok, that's about 15 minutes from here, and I can totally agree with the kid on that one. (reading that line had me laughing for 10 min)
Still, his parents are idiots... Jackass raises little jackass kid...go figure...
"The boy's mother, Sakinah Booker, told The News Tribune he dislikes the neighborhood where the family lives and is afraid of a sex offender who lives nearby." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16673691/
OK now that just makes it sound creepy. This has to be the smartest boy in the world - maybe he saw the whole news story about the MO kids and the creepy Imo's worker and said "Fuck this, I don't wanna be raped by a creepy old dude."

That kid's a frickin' genius. Devoted as hell, too. I mean... wow. His parents really ARE fucking stupid. How the heck did he manage to run away from home so many times? I bet his mom was sitting her ass in front of the TV or busy on the phone or something. Or probably not even at home.
Either way. I wouldn't be surprised if someone eventually acknowledges his skills and eventually put them to good use.

No shit.
I'm terrified of my son becoming a teenager sometimes, and I think I'm a pretty decent father.
People who have this sort of opinion, ironically, are most likely better qualified to be parents
