So I've been having this problem with Alpha Protocol for quite a while. Basically, upon launching the game, it takes up 200MB of RAM and uses 50% CPU constantly, while displaying a small window and not progressing any further than that.
The strange thing is, Mirror's Edge is now giving me the same problem. I had no issues running it (Mirror's Edge) in the past, and all my other games work. Borderlands, which also uses UE3 but not PhysX, runs without problems.
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling PhysX many times, using either the versions which came with the games or the latest version from nVidia's website, but none of them have done anything to solve the problem. Has anyone else come across this issue?
