Mini Marvels Pym maybe? But even then he was mostly the skrull

There was a Cthullu Pym in Thanos Imperative #4, Quasar blew a hole in his head with a Slingshot, so that's good.

Everything preceding the infamous slap painted him as competent. The old Ant-Man stuff is awesome.

I love his old Ant-Man shenanigans, I really do

But I really love him as this incompetent scientist who doesn't realize that just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

But TLB, it's that kind of go-getter attitude which got him the position of Scientist Supreme!

My hypothesis is that Pym's whole "Eternity makes him Scientist Supreme" was a delusion that was part of his psychosis.

I'd kind of like Speed to just say in one issue after they say they're gay, "Yeah, I know. You two never shut up about it."

I don't think I've noticed what you guys are talking about. Yeah, their relationship is a bit more pronounced than Cassie and Vision's, but I always chalked that up to the fact that they're the most important characters on the team in the book's two major arcs (the Kree/Skrull conflict and the search for Scarlet Witch). Meanwhile, the rest of the team, barring Speed, has no investment in either of the two storylines beyond their attachment to Wiccan and Hulkling.

Meanwhile, Luke and Jessica's relationship got just as much attention during Secret Invasion, and nobody complained about that.

Read any Young Avengers book. They reference "That's my boyfriend!" at least once in every issue. I don't recall any other Marvel couple having to remind the readers that they are romantically involved so much.

Just finished New Avengers #4, which I loved (mostly thanks to an awesome Iron Fist moment), and they're relationship features quite a bit in. So as much as it stands out with Wiccan And Hulking its around a fair bit with marvel at the moment. Theres also the story in I Am an Avenger just about Iron Fist and Misty Knights relationship.

Luke went to Darth Vader so he would take him to Emperor, and then he could chop the head off the snake, at least that is what I read in an Extended Universe book.

Anyway, I wonder what has happened to Iron Fist in New Avengers? He's got a new costume and it;s white, and we all know that a new white costume means a power boost for sure. I'm also vaguely interested in this whole thing with the Eye of Agamotto and Dr Strange, though Bendis' dialogue style in this book has been taken to eleven and I'm really not sure I like it. It would be far better if it was more in the line of, say, The Avengers.

    Still fuck yeah Iron Fist!

I think it's more that Luke went to Vader to try to convince him to renege from the Dark Side. Indeed, he was confident that Vader would not take him to the Emperor at that time.

Anyway, errr, I am really enjoying Children's Crusade.

Maybe, but you get the fun of reading it all at once rather than wait a month in between.

    So there's that.

I picked it up during Kirkman's run...

Cool news on more BP, even if it's not the main series. I'd like for T'challa to be on an Avengers team though, since Shuri is the official BP now.

Logan would accept it as an unpleasent necessity at best, especially the prospect of killing Billy

he wouldn't be gleefully excited to do either

And the worst part is the rest of the Avengers are standing RIGHT THERE including Steve and Tony who have been BFFs with Wanda forever and no one goes "Dude knock it the fuck off"

    it's just bad
