Oddly enough I am slowly souring on Thunderbolts due to the time travel arc. The Cage issue last was a great break into oh That's what I want from this comic. And unfortunately right now it's being out funnied by WatXM.

I'm agreeing with blank on the time travel arc

Thunderbolts is still miles ahead of the other Marvel team books, though
Oh yeah it is a great book, I'm not saying it isn't

but I want to read about the Thunderbolts, meaning a team of supervillains being led by Cage to do good. The time travel thing was fun at first but has been going on for, what, like 10 issues now? And it isn't going to end till at least May I think.

The time travel arc has lasted too long, yes

T-Bolts is still great but it isn't the best team book on the shelves right now. UXF is better, and Secret Avengers looks like it might be going there soon.

I think part of the problem is they used their best material first. What time adventure is going to be better then beating up Nazi's with the Invaders?

The last part is going to be running into the original Thunderbolts from the Bagley and Busiek era, which should be the best because there will be two Karlas!

Blazing Skull is the best underused character in Marvel's roster.

So, in New Avengers, do they explain why Gorgon has or how he got Wolverine claws?

He got dicked into being Wolverine for Osborn's Copy Avengers: A Facsimile Force!

I'm guessing he has gloves with claws on them

Fucking Norman Osborn. Gorgon is ten times cooler than he is, he should be in charge.

Gorgon does ask this in New Avengers, to his credit.

That said, I want Viper in charge. Viiiiii-per.

I honestly have no idea who Gorgon is outside of New Avengers.

But he seems pretty cool there.

Totally. She has an awesome octo-head and Norman Osborn has rubbish cornrows, she should shoot ink in his face on principle and then Gorgan beats him up. Also Gorgan and her are hinted at being a thing, so I am sure he would follow her over Captain Tommy Lee Monologue.

He was approximately ten bazillion times cooler in Secret Warriors, in which he was in fact the coolest character overall apart from maybe Alexander.

I don't think she'd get with him after all the choking two issues ago.

My memory is shit, and I've been reading New Avengers sporadically. What choking is that? Did Gorgon choke Madame Hydra? Because if so that massive annoys me, in Secret Warriors she was pretty much the only person that Gorgon actually seemed to give a damn about, he was genuinely concerned for her safety when she was abducted by Leviathan.

Yeah, he does it twice when he doesn't like her mouthing off about his chances for success. I think it wasn't last ish but the one before.

I double checked, and yep, it's in 19.

But! Viper's body language (as drawn by Deodato) does suggest she's physically close to Gorgon, so who knows

It was never shown, but it was hinted

I hope it stays there. Gorgon should be a villain, and he's a great one, but even villains should have things like that to give them character and variation. Generic evil dudes who don't care about anyone or anything are boring.

I always found Sith kind of boring as protagonists! To each their own, of course.

And I love the Old Republic setting

but my personal hatred of MMOs burns with the heat of a million exploding suns.

(bit strong. I don't like them).

    No!

    Don't worry man

    I'd never slay you

Especially not for an MMO, of all things (I mean really)

That looks pretty cool, even though it suffers from Cheung-face. Beast and Wolverine have chosen the right side, it seems. Good good.

Take out the hammer and it kinda looks like Thor and Storm are about to high-five.

I really hope that Thor does not get gimped massively

because really, Thor should just waste Storm

I'm happy for her to give a good showing or even beat him if there is actually, you know, a reason in the comic why

But if she out-powers him I will be actually kind of pissed off

but there was some split on watxm's side, at least, since iceman/rogue/angel are with Cyke.

If Cyclops is such a great strategist he'd find a way for Rogue to get hold of Thor's powers

The X-team would steamroll the Avengers then

Going by Carey's last Legacy issue, they're still a good team in one department:
