There's a movie I watched a while back. Maybe a couple of years ago? It was one of the most unsettling and... upsetting... things I've ever seen. I don't remember any character names.
This young girl, maybe 13 or 14 years old, goes to stay with a distant relative or a foster mom or something. This woman is a self-hating woman because her husband abandoned her (I think) and blames 'wily women' for all the world's troubles. She ends up locking up the girl (who is actually a pretty decent teenage girl and IIRC doesn't even do anything particularly 'provocative'... obviously not that it would justify what follows) in a closet or cellar or something and half-encouraging, half-forcing her sons to take turns beating and raping her. It gets progressively more and more intense, with some of the sons being total momma's boys who agree with her, and some (maybe just one of the three, I think) realizing "holy fuck this is terrible".
I don't remember exactly how it ends, whether the girl lives... but I do remember near the end the aunt/stepmom/foster mom/whatever decides that the girl needs to be 'spoiled towards sex' and like, horribly disfigures and tortures her clitoris.
Holy crud, if the movie is anywhere as bad as the show I watched about that case, I could see why it upset you. On the Discovery Channel, they have this series called Deadly Women. And the episode "Born Bad" has a "re-enactment" regarding this. It was.. awful.

I was so very confused until I wiki'd.
I wasn't sure where in the movie Elisha Cuthbert got locked in a closet, but was interested.
