i had a great cougar-knifing plan going last night

up in the northern foothills of hennigan's stead some bozo tried to steal my horse

i was like, whatever, lasso you, then figured wait a minute

so i was laying this guy down next to a tree, pouring bait over him and running away to watch what happened. i assumed i could then sneak in on the feast and stab the fuckers

sadly the cougars that showed up seemed much more interested in me than the bound-up victim or the bait

but it kinda worked! and i got my two pelts

so i finally get out of mexico last night

figure before i take a break imma go hunt me a bear

so i haul ass on up to Tall Trees and lo and behold theres a guy fighting a bear

so i whip out the buffalo rifle and dead eye that big bastard in the head

then i hear a wolf... and then a cougar...

what the fuck

a cougar swoopes in and takes out my horse, before i can recover the pack of wolves come in for a nibble

just as im about to dead eye the wolves, TWO FUCKING BEARS SHOW UP AND MAUL ME

Thanks for the help on PS3 multiplayer in the other thread.

Yeah, it's select and then triangle to invite friends from your friends list (which took a second because that is shown in the lower right corner whereas all the other multiplayer options are in the menu on the left). And I was also looking there to accept an invite, but instead you hit start and go to the multiplayer option there to accept.

I went into a public free roam with some folks here and had a surprisingly fun time. Got in a long, pretty equally-matched shootoff with another posse around Punta Orgullo, which is an awesome area to get into some PvP action. Also did a private game and just cleared out some bandit hideout places which was also fun.

Overall I'm pretty impressed with the multiplayer, as my expectations for it weren't too high.

i was just south west of Blackwater last night and came up on a wolf pack harrasing passerbys on the road

so i took out like 5 of them, while skinning them, another pack came along, then some skunks, raccoons, foxes, and cougars

by the end of the night i had 25 wolves, 6 cougars, 5 raccoons, 5 foxes, 5 skunks (my hunting achievement), 4 bucks, and 3 horses

I've also seen a lot near Beecher's Hope, and that one place in Mexico that is sort of a brothel, where you meet Eva, some times has wolves just standing around in front of the buildings.

try shooting them with bullets instead of chucking rocks at them

Last night I was walking out of the saloon in Armadillo and one of those asshole gang members with the top hats mouthed off to me. So like any rational citizen of the old west, I moseyed out the door, turned around, and tossed a stick of dynamite inside.

The shoot out in the street was epic. Then the law came in and I had to shotgun them in the face. I killed so many lawmen the game ran out of them. Then like 2 minutes later my wanted jumps back up and I was gunned down by like 8 cops that popped up from the earth itself.

In Free Roam I've discovered the easiest place to get Public Enemy is the Railroad Camp in West Elizabeth. Two marshals at a time will spawn when you are wanted and you can just sit on the hill to the north and pick them off for eternity.

Dude, El Presidio. Shoot a lantern or TNT crate then grab a cannon or gatling gun.

hunker down along the banister outside your room and just wait for them to either come in through the swinging doors or behind the bar

then run out the upstairs swinging doors onto the deck, jump down onto the street and over to the railroad to turn in your pardon and get the achievement

it was easier than an Armadillo Whore, but so slow

I did it for 20 minutes and only got $1,000 bounty

i was working that top floor of the saloon and had a $4,000 bounty by the time i ran out of shotgun ammo
