Well, EpicWin's to-do list has started bouncing up and down, making it so I can't even utilize the tiny bit of functionality this app has. It's a shame, this had potential, but ultimately the developer should have held it back a little longer.
Question for you cardsharks- Is there a poker app that lets you play via the "hot potato" method? (That is, pass the unit around and let everyone have a turn.) I tried to search for one but quickly got inundated with all the apps available. ^^;
If you pick up enough speed, his headphones fall off and you just hear the wind.
Got this this morning.
Just hit 25 mil high score. It was just... a super easy round. I hit a couple tunnels in a row, then a couple more, got very lucky with guessing where things were going to be, got over 100 mph, lost headphones, got faster, faster, faster......... missed a jump. Only took 1:40
Did another for 4 million, took 4 minutes, but lost headphones again
You know what I would kill for? A Forgotten Realms game on the iPhone!
Turn based, D&D rulesets (3rd?) create a character, play with friends via local or 3G or solo, randomly generated dungeons with an overworld, in app purchases of new campaigns, loot displays on your character, random / rare loot, able to back up characters via cloud...
:P

Not a game, but if anyone's interested in IRC for the iTouch interface, Colloquy is pretty great.
Dunno if it's been mentioned before, but I picked up Tractor Beam the other day.. That's quite a blast, thought it does the same "everything looks movey after you look away" thing that rock band does to me.
Small company plug about to happen so I apologise. Our studio had a 16 year old on 3 week work placement where he put together this free app, collection of little mini games that's really nicely presented so if you are into that kind of thing we'd appreciate a download
There are muttering in the reviews about the end-game, but I'm enjoying the hell out the Castlevania iphone game. Pretty good controls and my nostalgi-o-meter is reading off the charts. The $5 is tough to swallow but I've been treating myself to the occasional $2+ game lately and haven't regretted any so far.
I've recently bought some Reiner Knizia board games on my iPod/iPad (Money and Samurai) and am loving them. I also bought Small World some time ago and Carcasonne even longer ago. Anyone have info on other board/card game ports that are good?
Also, so far both Reiner games are ADDICTING AS HELL. I also play the crap out of Small World now that I can play the AI. Carc is Carc, quality but simple. My wife likes that one more then the others as she's far less strategic when it comes to game play.
It's a shame the UDK royalties are so high. That stacked onto Apple's pound of flesh means we won't see any $1 to $2 apps using this tech, only the $10+ stuff.
edit: I stand corrected, apparently they're still working out the royalty model. If it's reasonable this could be a really, really big deal for mobile games.

If you don't have it, definitely grab it up.
This is the first time an app I've bought went free shortly after I paid money for it, but I can say that this game is worth a dollar.
It was up to $2 for a couple days, so this might be going price after the FAAD deal.
So go now, journey and save the kingdom from blocks and squares!!!!!

Don't remember it's scoring being so crazy (although I haven't played this version before) Over 2 billion scored on my first go.
2009 is a year of Updates - one every Monday. Hopefully. xx

Thanks for the heads up, I'll let one of our guys know.
I've only seen it running on iPhones this morning.

Despite loud bitching from a certain Beatles fan I've gotta say Sonic the Hedgehog 2 works pretty well and is absolutely worth $3.
