I think Ronaldo got it for swearing, and since he should have got it earlier for simulation he's got no legit complaint

It must be tough for the ref, his position for that tackle was not the best to see that the studs caught his ankle and the fact that he had been watching 30 mins of theatrical diving wouldn't have added to the cause. I'm really starting to hate these gunshot victims, sure studs to the leg hurt like nothing on earth, but Eboue was lying there looking like he was within an inch of his life.
This also leads on to another hatred of mine which is the fair play "kick it out" unwritten rule. Watch for the next time it happens, there is a strong chance that the attacking team will be about 3/4 of the field into the oppositions half, they'll put it out and get the ball back in their own fucking box. It's an absolutely atrocious rule and the more I see it, the less I believe that the victim of the tackle needs medical treatment. Rant over.

Ivory Coast should bring Drogba on if at all possible in the second half. This is their crucial game ... Brazil will get 9 points, and everyone'll beat NK, so if they win this they are through.

Really I think if it had been say North korea vs NZ they wouldn't of complained about the level of play cause it would be expected to be a sloppy game. Since its 2 teams with good players and lots of pace and technical skill we expected 10 shots per side and a wide open anything goes game. What we got was putrid overacting trash.

Well, at least the mentality on North Korea is 'play for goal differential'. Anyone that carries the mentality we're seeing now into the North Korea game is suicidal.
