Not to be a goose but uhh.. yeah I know. But unknown people = no one wants to play with.
I've asked quite a few times in vent and IMs in-game... rarely even dignified with a response. :P
There's an element of luck sometimes. Sometimes people are afk, or they're focused on their game or whatever. But I've never seen people exclude newbies on that basis - I jumped in pretty easily my first few times. (I'm still a newbie really since I can't play very often since I work evenings, but.)
Just ask periodically, check the multiple channels, etc. Something will turn up.

Ah man, I love how when I started playing LoL everyone said Pantheon was crap, he's always been considered bottom tier (while I have played), and people would even queue dodge me because I was playing him. Nothing has changed, but now everyone is crybabying. It's not like they put him into the game the way he is based solely on numbers and no testing, they obviously felt that he played in balanced manner. I stopped playing him because he is one of the worst late game heroes, even well fed. And being well fed as Pantheon is usually detrimental to your team because it means someone else who would be really strong late game with those kills wasn't getting them.
I wonder how he will play now...they fixed a lot of glitches with heartseeker, but they are glitches that were both increasing and decreasing it's damage.
Ah man, also finally a Blitzcrank skin but it looks pretty retarded in the artwork. They need to make a legendary Rock'em sock'em robots skin for Blitz.
6 more hours of downtime? Curse my Britisher hours. I suppose not playing today would be a good idea anyway, as it's a patch day.
I quite liked playing Ezrael as a healer, although that might have been because he was OP as one. It seems a bit odd that Taric was left untouched with the healing nerfs, considering his scales very well and can be cast extremely often if he is attacking.
I want to play me some Vivi now. Does that baleful strike change actually mean he gains 5 AP anytime any enemy dies on the map?
I keep wanting to spend money for things in this game, but my cheapness won't let me. Mainly I would buy IP boosts, but If i did I would have to actually play for at least 20 of the 24 hours i paid for to not feel like its wasted.

So Veigar is my main, and I like the changes, I think. Mana regen was just impossible for him, and this change will fix that. The loss of the old passive is ok with me, Veigar is sufficiently incredible in teamfights as it is.
What you guys haven't been discussing is the incredible buffs to his already overpowered stun and to Dark Matter. Event Horizon just got made into the best stun in the game, and the combo just got a lot easier to land.
i think the really nice thing about the vei changes is that instead of tear of the goddess being standard, with a built in chalice you can immediately go into big ap items
wonder if a zhonya's or rylai's would be good to build first on him now

maybe grab a doran's ring to start
Rylai's would be a hilarious first item if you can get away with getting the 20 AP item that looks like a book first. I would bet that it's going to be Sapphire Crystal-ROA first though.
per win is great if you want a boost but can't play 4-10 games per day...
lets say, i can only play one or two games in a day, usually while i'm holding my daughter so she'll fall asleep. i can play one, maybe two games. per win though... i could get my first win and have it boosted every day (if i can win in solo queue :x )
Does the per win bonus actually get influenced by the of-the-day-win bonus? Whenever I look at the after-game report, it looks to me like the space where I would've gotten an IP boost if I had one doesn't account for of-the-day-win bonus.
The annoying thing about the per-win IP boost is it applies to Practice Games.
So if you do lots of in-houses, you'll be wasting charges.
I bought a 2 week boost a while back, just to help accelerate the rate at which I can buy another set of T3 runes. For the record, those ~800 IP runes are ridiculous. You have to play a ridiculous number of games just to get a set - even with the IP boost.

Ultimate changes are a very slight buff. AOE increased by 50%, damage decreased by ~35%, slow decreased slightly.
Parrrley changes without the dodge/blind provision is a nerf straight up.
Raise morale change is a push in terms of stats provided (about the same total gold value), but if you're a Parrrley pirate, it's a buff.
They need to retain the 110% on Parrrley OR add back Grog Soaked applications.
No justice while Ezreal has 120% scaling.
There was some pretty awesome kills in there. I need to learn how to drop all the wall abilities better.

...and now I'm reminded of eagerly awaiting for an MMO to come up on patch day and am kind of sad.

The raise morale change means that parley is nerfed early game but buffed a bit late game in most cases.
Which sounds pretty fair to me.
the colossus of clout?

It seems kinda like per win boosts are not worth the cost. You barely make back 2-3x the points you spent, now in IP rather than RP.
Otherwise they're not that great
