Hi guys, really quick and easy query.

Is there a Mass Effect RPG ala D&D or Dark Heresy?

And if so, where can I locate it??

Thanks!

There is no official Mass Effect RPG.

I suspect that using D20 Modern or GURPS wouldn't be too difficult, it would just require some prep and testing.

Yeah, haven't seen one. Though there is Dragon Age RPG book out (custom ruleset as well, not D20)...
Wasn't there a Space and Sorcery setting a while back? Alternity or something like that.
    Maybe that'll work?

I've read that Traveller (from Mongoose Games) is a good fit for the game, but you can find more ideas both here and here on the rpg.net boards.

Traveller has the advantage of their Pocket Edition of the core book which will run you about ten bucks. It's a cheap way to check a system out.

Traveller is a great system that would probably work very well!

A generic system like Savage Worlds could be adapted to ME with a few afternoons of work.

I'm currently working on a Mass Effect conversion to Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition.

Its a simple system that's easy to get into - the key is to focus on the story and setup.

Feel free to check it out and offer your thoughts or suggestions.

Another system you could model the Mass Effect universe on is the Star Wars Roleplaying Game Saga Edition (also d20).

The Traveler system has been referred to on this board and could be a good idea - I've personally never used it.

I have decided to pick back up on my creation of a Mass Effect RPG; thanks to the volus engineer/adept. I am working on a system first in d10, then in d20. I will post everything in the following facebook group as well as comment on others ideas if they want someone to bounce ideas off of. In my gaming experience, the biggest Issue that exists with the d20 system is the wizard/fighter imbalance. This would no doubt carry over in a biotic/soldier imbalance, in addition there is no content regarding toward tech powers. Would tech be regarded as a Psionic Warrior? To create a uniform system I look at the Scion and Mutants and Masterminds systems
I have allot to write but you can ask and rebound on this facebook page
    or just in facebook
