do you still have to deal with GFWL for the fallout 3 DLC?
that was the worst thing

oh god damn it, why now
I mean, I have the discs for all three of those games, but I'd love to have oblivion and morrowind without dealing with the discs, but I don't wanna spend $13.50 for that privilage
Awesome...I almost bought Oblivion at full price just a couple weeks ago. This would make my weekend if I didn't have to drive to my hometown for a wedding shower.
Do I need to know any Oblivion tips? Are there any tips for this game?
man, oblivion is so good. I haven't played Fallout 3 yet though..
Still waiting for Team Fortress 2 on mac today.. I knew that "every wednesday more games for mac" thing was complete bullshit.
If you liked Oblivion, you will probably like Fallout 3.
Yeah, I heard that. Plus, guns. I'm only just now modding Oblivion to perfection and doing one complete play through before moving on and never playing it again.
Kinda steamed that I bought Oblivion last week and now they are having a sale!
Also, if you play oblivion and get stuck on a mage mission from Skinningrad(Thatisnotitsrealname) the oblivionwiki has a fix for that! Its happened to me each time and was quite bothersome
I'm considering buying the Orange Box on the PC because I want to play TF2. I haven't played a game by them since TF1 (besides Portal, but its so weird I don't count it as a real shooter).
Is this still worth it? Are enough people still playing that a newbie could get into it without becoming bored looking for games?
I loved TFC to death, but I can't get into Team Fortress 2.. every time I play, I play as a soldier, and there's this huge delay between shooting and seeing a rocket come out.. what's that all about?
I don't experience that in other multiplayer games..
As part of the celebration, TF2 will be FREE to play all weekend, and 50% off to purchase. We've also got a little treat for anybody logging into the game from a Mac
well, that answers that.
edit: god dammit, I've been ninja'd so much today.
so, I have super slow connection at my apartment (it's "high speed" at 100kbps), is there any way I can take my Team Fortress 2 files from my PC partition and put it into my Mac folders and then some how do something and something and then bam I'm in?

I sure hope not because it was really annoying.

had to buy points through the zune store in 400 packs because they didn't sell packs of that size in the windows store
then you had to log into their awful service
and find out that they install the DLC into a hidden folder buried in the user files, which is completely fucking useless to steam users
really dropped the ball on that

Should I just wait for the next sequel?
Any Half-Life sequels are in the distant future.
So, yes.
there are all the people playing
I would say buy it up

That's interesting. How old is TFC now?
TF2 seems better in every way to me, but people do hate change.
I don't experience that in other multiplayer games..
which has me super confused because i don't remember buying it and i'm on mac so i would've had to buy it like today??
Well if you bought it on PC then you can download it for Mac.
If you bought it on PC, you get it for Mac i believe.
it is just here
RIDICULOUS
Also, yeah, Steam just updated some shit..

I'll buy it tonight and start playing tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice!
Edit: Wait 50% off? Is that now or starting on Friday/Saturday?
Maybe I'll wait.
ReEdit: Its now! I'm totally buying this right this second.
I'm gonna look into it. Macs are SO that cool.
Fixed.
