The old Steam thread is locked, but there's a sale!

All Bethesda stuff is 50-75% off!

Fallout 3: GOTY $25
Oblivion GOTY $8.50
Morrowind GOTY $5

I think I will buy morrowind just so I don't have to find my discs!

do you still have to deal with GFWL for the fallout 3 DLC?

    that was the worst thing

oh god damn it, why now

I mean, I have the discs for all three of those games, but I'd love to have oblivion and morrowind without dealing with the discs, but I don't wanna spend $13.50 for that privilage

    seriously

had to buy points through the zune store in 400 packs because they didn't sell packs of that size in the windows store

then you had to log into their awful service

and find out that they install the DLC into a hidden folder buried in the user files, which is completely fucking useless to steam users

really dropped the ball on that

Awesome...I almost bought Oblivion at full price just a couple weeks ago. This would make my weekend if I didn't have to drive to my hometown for a wedding shower.

Do I need to know any Oblivion tips? Are there any tips for this game?

Yeah, I heard that. Plus, guns. I'm only just now modding Oblivion to perfection and doing one complete play through before moving on and never playing it again.

Kinda steamed that I bought Oblivion last week and now they are having a sale!

Also, if you play oblivion and get stuck on a mage mission from Skinningrad(Thatisnotitsrealname) the oblivionwiki has a fix for that! Its happened to me each time and was quite bothersome

I'm considering buying the Orange Box on the PC because I want to play TF2. I haven't played a game by them since TF1 (besides Portal, but its so weird I don't count it as a real shooter).

Is this still worth it? Are enough people still playing that a newbie could get into it without becoming bored looking for games?

Should I just wait for the next sequel?

Plenty of people still play TF2, it is still under active development by Valve, really.

Any Half-Life sequels are in the distant future.

    So, yes.

"Enough people playing" is not a concern with TF2, at all

there are all the people playing

I would say buy it up

That's interesting. How old is TFC now?

TF2 seems better in every way to me, but people do hate change.

I loved TFC to death, but I can't get into Team Fortress 2.. every time I play, I play as a soldier, and there's this huge delay between shooting and seeing a rocket come out.. what's that all about?

I don't experience that in other multiplayer games..

    well, that answers that.
