YES! Tech Romancer! This above all others (except perhaps Soul Calibur and Skies) for me. As a mecha anime fan, this covered all the genres beautifully.
Power Stone 2 can be a fun game, but it's hilariously bad in direct comparison to the original. It isn't even the same genre.
Fighters and perhaps multiplayer hack & slash games are about all I could see this being too useful for, just to play with other people. I mean, I already own a DC and most of the good games...
If I still had my old DC sticks I wouldn't care so much, but I would love a copy of VF3:TB that I didn't have to play with crappy DC pads. Same for Powerstone 1; makes it really hard to run side tourneys when I have to think about those pads.

I used to own a Dreamcast with all the good games. Then my controller port got fried. So, this is good news for me.

Rival Schools! I had the Playstation One port of that, played it ALL the damn time!
Would be great to see it come around again on 360, definite buy.

I think I'd just about lose it if they put out Shenmue 1 and 2. 2 especially, since the DC version never came out in NA. It'd be nice to have the original language too.
But what I really want is Jet Grind and Skies of Arcadia. I must confess I never actually played Skies back in its heyday, so I'd love to make up for that.

Maybe I could actually play Soul Calibur. This is good. Oh, and Sonic Adventure.
Don't have a 360. And I'd rather just the original.
Is there some advantage to the first game over the later iterations that I'm unaware of?
The original Soul Calibur is popularly regarded as the best in the series. (Many of the more serious players argue, with some merit, that the sequel has superior gameplay, however.) Compared to the later games, however, the original has a simpler system that's a lot easier for casuals to jump into. It's still pretty balanced for competitive play, however. At least, balanced enough for your average gamers playing at home.
Outside of the gameplay, it had plenty of unlockables and a really fun mission mode (which was cut from the XBL version). Combined with its great music, graphics that have held up quite well, and simple nostalgia and it's easy to see why people still fondly remember Soul Calibur.
I'd be down for the Jet Grind games for certain. Those were a lot of fun but I never owned them so if they hit xbla I'd be very happy.
The second one is an oXbox game, so I wouldn't count on it being released through this program. That being said it's already BC, so you can find it cheap now. I thought about the first one, but I really did like Future a LOT more, so I'm just happy to have it already.
I'll second Chu-Chu. I know it's not likely, but in addition to online, I would love to see it with its level editor/sharing available. Ohhh, and Seaman would be fun.

I thought I read the original and chuchu rocket had been leaked and are fairly certainly coming to XBLA?

It was just a rumor, and not one of those rumors with partnernet screenshots or anything. It was also from January of last year, without so much as another peep since.
You might know this, you might not, I fumbled across it on a forum one day, but Import Tuner Challenge for the 360 is a sequel to Tokyo Extreme Racer. From what I played of it, I enjoyed, I wouldn't mind playing it again.
The big bonus with these games being converted for dl, is the upconvert. I wonder how much better those games would look in comparison to using the VGA cable, because using that makes the games look great!
I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, But Ecco The Delphine was great on the dc, highly underrated game. Mine was stolen a long time ago, so I decided to repurchase it for the PS2 hoping with the new map system it would be even better... Nope it looks like crap on the PS2, all the colors look washed out. Where as on the DC the colors are vibrant. Also I am not a fan of the PS2 analog placement, but thats my problem. So yeah, I would love to see that.
The real question is pricing... Do we have a confirmation on what these games will cost? I really like SA, and Crazy Taxi for that matter, I would love to have achievements for them, but I wouldn't want to pay 15 dollars for them.
I think $10 is the sweet spot, O please Sega don't screw this up and charge $15, damn you Sega, make the right choice for once....
Just saw the IGN article for this. Some good news and some bad...
Apparently, crazy taxi is getting bumped to 720p which is nice but is losing some of its licensed music. SA on the other hand is going to be running @ 480p and with BORDERS!
If they bring out JGR I'm really going to try to unlock that dog. I want him so bad. I never did it as a kid because I was young and stupid. But now I am a man who has unlocked everything in Future. I can do it. I can get that dog.
i would be excited if there was any chance in hell of some dreamcast games that im interested in getting released. the odds of mars matrix or border down being on the list seem pretty damn low to me though.
And funny how this is getting more celebrated as a PSX birthday. Figures.
Not really. I mean, this year it is because it's one of those silly milestones we celebrate in multiples of 5s, but every year there's something about the Dreamcast on this date. I don't remember that last year.

Project Justice is twice the game it is, if not more. It has double the cast, three person teams, and much better graphics.

Unfortunately, the first thing that came to mind was:
Swallow, come!
Then I clicked on the link. This looks bizarre.
Outside of the gameplay, it had plenty of unlockables and a really fun mission mode (which was cut from the XBL version). Combined with its great music, graphics that have held up quite well, and simple nostalgia and it's easy to see why people still fondly remember Soul Calibur.
They got sued by the lead singer of Deee-lite (Grove is in the Heart) for impersonating her likeness.

I'm totally down for some Crazy Taxi though.
And I thought I heard that branding is out, too? Any word on that?

maybe even SA for nostalgia.
I can play that in Rock Band.

You have to get Jet on every level to unlock him, which is pretty hard to do in JGR.
