Bing getting all up in my Firefox

Ok, for some reason I've no idea of, Bing has managed to take over as the default search in my Firefox. No, I don't mean the search in the corner, I mean when you type a word into the Address bar to search for it (something I do frequently.)
Now, I'd like to know how Microsoft sniped me with this awful search engine, but that's not important. The important thing is how to change it back!
I've tried the recommended advice of going to about:config and changing Keyword.URL but that didn't work. I had a look at my add-ons and found one that was rather suspicious (I don't remember downloading it) but even after removing it, nothing's changed.
This has annoyed me greatly. Bing is just awful, I don't want it on my system
