I have upgraded from a no-name motel to some fancy pants hotel in downtown Ottawa. I am sitting in what I can only call a post-post-post-modern lounge. I mean, there is a wood carving sitting right next to me, except it doesn't seem to actually be carved into anything. It's just a lump of wood.
I think Trus made the right call, and I'm glad Bulwark decided to play James. I'm definitely anticipating the games, with our teams split 2-2 right now. Out of curiosity, has anything happened with that Plays of The Week feature or whatever that we were planning? I still think it is an interesting idea.
School has been kicking my ass on the website/casting end. Trying to get readjusted has taken a bit more time than I figured, and my job is eating up other precious hours of free time (Fun fact I haven't had a day off in about three weeks!). So I apologize for my shitty, shitty ability to get that stuff done even though Exo was super awesome in getting the wordpress set up.
So what happens in the event that illgottengains doesn't PM me in the next 10 seconds and our game does not get played this week?
I have been on a lot this week, and was clear that I'd be unavailable after Friday afternoon. I understand we all have lives, and am not saying illgotten has done anything wrong, I just don't want our team penalized when I have made every effort to get this match played.
I have also been on a roll this week, my second foray in platinum has been far more successful than the first

varaible i think your main problem is just your sense of timing. there were times where I was vulnerable and you didnt attack. like the game i massed zealots, you should have sent out an scv to find my army early on. I dont think you knew it was just zealots/dt until i attacked.
They were good games, Olorin's economy play is pretty brutal. I really need to work on my TvP, seems to be my weakest matchup right now. Also not really used to seeing Collosus too much anymore, most Protoss seem to have switched to High Templar instead. I should have made less Ghosts and more Valkyries in the last game.

They were good games, Olorin's economy play is pretty brutal. I really need to work on my TvP, seems to be my weakest matchup right now. Also not really used to seeing Collosus too much anymore, most Protoss seem to have switched to High Templar instead. I should have made less Ghosts and more Valkyries in the last game.
Yeah, but those nukes were sssssooooooooooooooooo annoying. I completely ignored one of the warnings thinking no big deal, but you dropped 2(3?) of them and took out all my warpgates. That was irritating :P.

Yeah, the whole point of this first season was to iron out all the details/rules/etc., so that seemed like more the issue there. Now that's one less issue for next time this occurs. Progress!

I hope everyone now feels very sincerely silly for all the drama about whether or not it would be fair to let the "experienced Diamond zerg" play.

Yeah, I know I made a big deal of it, but the big problem was that I was (am!) out of town, so I didn't have much time to devote to the issue, so I feared the worst and just defended my team.
I hope no one took my reflexive defense too badly; my team has been amazing about putting the time in to prepare for our matches, and after letting us down both weeks, I felt like I should do what I could to make sure that their hard work did not go to waste.
Edit: We should be clear now what the situation will be in the future, if people drop out midweek.
