Anyway, what's the rationale for people who like to use not just a heavy using a minigun, but a natascha in a 4 person game? People are just disgusting.

Replaces the sentry. When an enemy runs by it, it activates, and all nearby enemies shit bricks (which can be picked up for ammo or metal) and are stunned similar to the response to the ghost from the Halloween update. Closer enemies are stunned for longer, and nearby spies are uncloaked and lose their disguise (not sure if that happens with the ghost too).
Lvl. 1: Basic functions
Lvl. 2: More health, increased stun time. Can also throw a sandvich at hurt teammates, has 5 sandviches, and they can be refilled with a wrench like the rockets and shells of a sentry.
Lvl. 3: Will also attempt to taunt kill stunned enemies. More health, sandvich gives more health, and faster activation.
Achievements:
Pick-up bricks - Pick up 20 shat (shitted?) bricks to replenish your ammo supply
Boom! Ah shit - Get taunt killed by your own Scary Heavy Thing
Dead (sp)eye (is this already an achievement name? Felt too easy)- Have your SHT taunt kill a cloaked spy you designated with the laser pointer on your [insert new shotgun name]
Medic+Heavy Combo! - Heal a friendly Medic with a dropped sandvich from your SHT
Corporeal Punishment - Scare Zepheniah Mann's ghost and hit it with your wrench
Meet the Sandvich 2 - Have an enemy steal a sandvich dropped by the SHT, and promptly beat him to death with your wrench
A fright to behold - As an engineer, get scared by an SHT activated by someone else.
Speaking of Scouts, I have a question for those in the audience who don't suck; is there any real benefit to equipping the Force-a-Nature over the Scattergun? Maybe I haven't used it enough, but the speed/clip size trade off doesn't seem that great.
Essentially you can instant-kill a lot of things if you get up-close and personal
spamming the fire button just as you leave "bonk" mode shoots both barrels at once and pretty much insta-kills any 125 hp class foolish enough to bodyblock you
Add to this the fact that the other guy has no clue as to exactly when you will be able to fire again and you have a recipe for FUCK BONK!!!
Other than the spinup time and movement speed, did Valve make any more changed to the heavy? Last night it felt like the cone of fire was tighter. It could just have been my imagination. I really have not played much since BC2 came out.
They did tighten the firecone, but that was quite a while ago.

General consensus is that the laser will probably be used to designate targets for the sentry, for example targeting the Medic first.
Or am I missing something else?

It is not a scope. It has an antenna where the eyehole would be, plus it's on the wrong side as stated.
It looks like the black part that sticks out could be the looky-in part. I'm still going with laser pointer though.
