I guess the enginner being able to equip Max's pistol is nice for the people that have the Sam & Max items. That and the golden wrench must mean that the engineer update is close.

All these screenshots prove my point; the Huntsman is awesome not only in a game mechanic way, but in a meta way. It's just inherently funny to see arrows sticking out of guys' bodies, and it makes dying a lot more fun when you see the kill screen. Especially if they're your arrows, you feel a certain vindication and don't mind the death as much. Making losing fun is a huge part of making a good game.

Got my first found hat tonight, after just under two hundred hours put in since hat drops were implemented. Noble Amassment of Hats. I'm pleased with that.

I'm about the same and I still have no found hats.
I read this these threads and people complain and get excited about hats, and I'm like: pft they're just hats, they don't make you better, who needs em....
Hours roll by, threads fill up, hats come and go, and I just keep saying to myself: they don't make you better....they don't make you better....
I gave in and crafted my metal the other day that I was considering saving up for a Soldier hat, but I decided to just do it since I really don't play soldier enough for it to matter. I instead got the spy mullet, and I have like 2 hours of genuine spy play. I guess I could craft it with the camera beard but I know I'd just end up getting something dumb like another hatless hat.

Well, it means a lot. (Other than the fact that a Luger with the Engineer just feels right.)
It also means that they pushed out the change to the Engineer's models so that the guns aren't built into the hands, so they can actually put *out* new weapons for him. Usually that's bundled in with the class update...
...I wonder if we're going to be getting the Polycount update before the Engineer one, if they don't come together?

There's probably more stuff buried in the png, if Spore can hide creature data in there and keep the filesize down, TF2 can probably have the entire engineer update in there.
