It's an acceptable game. However make sure you get a new copy. A used one will no doubt already have its Manaphy egg harvested and there is no way to reset it and get another one from that cartridge again, ever.

Unsure what you mean about 'anal', but they run the gamut from people who want competitively bred mons with Egg moves to people who just want shinies because they look nice and people who want 'Dex fillers.

They have a dedicated hacked mons forum, which is by far the least active of the trading boards.

If it came from Diamond/Pearl, you won't get a Gracidea, but if it's from Platinum, you will.
